  • "i cant believe it's a law firm" - best......sight gag.......ever

  • Can you imagine a world without lawyers?

  • Replying to a comment made 5 months ago?

You better believe thats a padlin

  • @ecko1922

    freaking lol

  • Funny, but the best Lionel Hutz scene was with the business card that read "Works on Contingency". "No Money Down". Then when Homer called him on the no money down part, he rewrote it as: "Works on Contingency? No, Money Down!" lol

  • WTF did you guys do to the comments section??

  • Ya but I havn't slept in days, lol!

  • Oh yeah!

  • Drinking scotch out of a belt... that's a paddlin'

  • HAHAHA! people debating about alcohol abuse from a cartoon.. the best cartoon ever!! Funny how no one says anything when Homer chokes Bart! Or Patty & Selma smoking or Homer puffing on the ganja or all the other stuff that The Simpsons poke fun at! Cus thats exactly what it is.. poking fun

    Simpsons for LIFE! hahaha

  • I now know why Lionel changed his name and was shifted between jobs now....lol but RIP Phil

  • Hi

I don't care about Alcohol or Alcoholics; I just like Phil Hartman

    :D

  • RIP Phil Hartman.

  • Lionel Hutz is the writer of Mallard Filmore

    also finlandnator you're retarded

  • Alcohol sucks

  • Drinking scotch at 9:30 am that's a paddlin

  • Alcohol is the Devil's mouthwash.

  • @Kzzori See, I was really talking about the substance itself, an imaginary world where people are completely unaffected by it, not about the people who use it, but ok, what you wanna hear?

  • NUMBER 4 IS ALIVE!!!

  • Being a stressed out lawyer will do that to you

  • Comment removed

  • Two people had to call David Crosby because they were really tempted.

  • Ha! 'Care to join me in a belt of Scotch' is a fucking funny in itself.

'It's 9:30 in the morning!', 'Yeah, but I haven't slept in days.' is the icing on the cake.

A good example of how brilliant The Simpsons was.

  • Oh, btw. Two people wouldn't join Hutz in a Belt of scotch.

  • @TheFinlandnator OUCH. 66 thumbs-ups. Lol. The public has spoken!

  • This video takes me back to my days as an alcoholic.

  • Anybody getting real tired of these "that's a paddlin'" comments in EVERY Simpsons clip? I love Jasper and the show, but come on.

  • @ChachaChapati Not a fan of paddlin' comments, that's definitely a paddlin'.

  • @ChachaChapati That"s a paddldin'.

  • You don;t have to be an alcoholic to love this clip...if you think otherwise, then, that's a paddlin'...

  • @DrinkToIreland Anyways... my point is that people should stop replying me because there is nothing to reply about; alcohol kills like you said; my comment up there makes me look like some sober alcohol hating square who wants to ban everything, but I assure you that that is not true.

  • @DrinkToIreland I am not going to do any campaign against anything. I said that there would much less corpses is this chemical did not exists. And please stop using straw man arguments against me; guns kill because they are designed to kill and alcohol mainly kills because some people are extremely irresponsible with it. I use drugs, but never alcohol... if admitting this makes you feel better. Yet I am no hypocrite if I say "alcohol kills"; it's a fact.

So... what are we REALLY arguing about?

  • If only Phil Hartman was still alive now, something tells me we would have seen a lot more hilarity of Tryoy McClure and Lionel Hutz

  • It is true that the Simpsons started to decline in quality after Phil Hartman died, one could argue that the simpsons truly died when phil hartman did

  • Hello David?! I'm really tempted!

  • @dstruck0622 Just take it one day at a time, and know that I love you.

  • @Elfworks12greg I love you too, man

  • The 2 people that disliked this video were displeased with it. Thumbs up if you watched the video.

"[insert quote here]" wasn't it funny that I quoted the video I watched less than 5 seconds earlier? If you don't like it well that's a paddlin'

Now all I have to do is make a long winded speech about how this video relates to my personal moral ideologies and anyone who disagrees with me is Hitler.

I make a pretty good youtube commentator, heh?

  • fuck andy dick.

  • @mymusicvideos111 I miss him too. :-( Lionel Hutz and Troy McClure are awesome! xoxox

  • @MilesDillon It all depends on the user and some people are irresponsible. I am not judging those who don't harm others by drinking. And to the last part of your comment... why I should not? What good it has done?

  • Sweet liquor... eases the pain.

  • RIP Phil Hartman, he created possibly two of the greatest characters on the Simpsons.

  • @mallic42 like I just explained, its abandoning the idea of free will

you may choose to drink something with alcohol in it, but you are choosing to do so because you are under the impression that you are incapable of feeling or thinking in specific ways without chemically inducing your body to do such.

  • how do i contact the law offices of lionel hutz?

  • RIP Phil Hartman

  • "Sweet liquor eases the pain"

  • Whats that? You want me to drink you? But I'm in the middle of a trial

  • I'd like a belt of scotch.

  • 'I CANT BELIEVE ITS A LAW FIRM!'

  • yeah, but I haven't slept in days

  • Why are people turning a funny scene from the simpsons into some serious debate about alcoholism and social harm? fuckin relax..

  • lmao miguel sanchez

  • @TheFlamingDoh2 Well, it started with one short and misunderstood (IMO) comment and turned into a conversation... a conversation which ended and which you don't have to part of against your will; not to be rude or anything.

  • Lionel Hutz was always my favorite character...good to see him resurrected on youtube. :)

  • Just found out phil hartman was born in my hometown. you learn something new everyday.

  • What episode is this from? I love it!

    :D

  • "i can't believe it's a law firm"

  • to alcohol. the cause of - and solution to - all of life's problems

  • @smik4978 Thats funny. You're from Sweden so I guess you like muslims; especially immigrants...

...no, seriously. Weed would be a better choice than alcohol if you are thinking about aggression. You might get slightly paranoid, but at least you wont attack people who you think are smirking at you if you happen to be a bad drunk.

I actually have a slight feeling in the back of my head that you are drunk right now... or high. Not eating pork causes aggression, too btw.

  • @TheFinlandnator ...and not all of the undirect deaths are counted in e.g. diseases caused or increased by alcohol; only direct poisonings and some injuries are counted, but the number is still big even when it is not all of it.

  • @smik4978 oh... and as an ad to my previous comment: the statistics is taken from death cases per year.

  • @smik4978 Now what the hell islamic countries have anything to do with this? Its not only a cultural difference, they've got poverty, wars, dictators etc... completely irrelevant to this one single subject.

And what I said is true; alcohol kills. Drink three bottles of vodka and you'll be dead or drink, drive and crash. I believe this is something everyone should agree on including you, right? Nearly 1 800 000 people die because of alcohol; all just because of substance they don't even need.

  • @TheFinlandnator

It's got everything to do with this. The Muslim teetotaller culture function worse in every aspect than our alcohol enjoying culture. If they had learned to enjoy drinks to relax, they might not have become so crazy that they would crash air planes into skyscrapers or engage in deadly riots over the burning of paper books in other continents.

  • @phitdemon Electricity, lead etc. are pretty necessary. Alcohol is not. True, some people use it with moderation, but just think how drastically death rates would go down in car accidents and violence and how much less money would be wasted to fix problems caused by alcohol.

I'm not wishing it to be banned, if thats what you think; it would just cause more problems. Nobodys gonna stop people from drinking; its up to people themselves. I'm just saying that there would less problems without it.

  • @TheFinlandnator I'm saying that many people enjoy a drink, and can do so in moderation without doing it all the time or getting in a car. What you are talking about is the misuse of a substance, not the substance itself. Almost anything can kill when it is used irresponsibly: electricity, lead, kitchen knives, natural gas...but you would never argue that the world would be a better place without them. Don't demonise alcohol based on the behaviour of the foolish individuals who don't respect it.

  • @phitdemon Is Phitzy gonna have to choke a bitch?

  • @phitdemon also flatulence, silent but deadly

  • @TheFinlandnator It's a cartoon and no one wants to read your long and annoying comment, even if it is kinda a truth.

  • @TheFinlandnator

Hands in the wrong hands kill people. Don't treat alcohol as liquid evil.

  • @TheFinlandnator stfu your ruining alcohol for real people not dumbasses living in their mothers basements trying to "outit" the internet folks

  • @TheFinlandnator The world would be a better place without alcoholics, so that idiots like you wouldn't demonise alcohol and ruin it for the rest of us.

  • @phitdemon the world would be a better place without free will

  • @phitdemon I agree with you. People blame alcohol for all of their problems when they should be blaming themselves for not having some self control. Anyway,LOVE Lionel Hutz!! :D

  • @phitdemon we have a right to demonize something that is evil, alcohol exsists but that doesnt mean it should be used for that purpose. We shouldnt need to warp our minds to act differently, if you cannot choose to act in an intoxicated manner without actually being intoxicated you are depriving yourself of actual thought. The very act of consuming alcohol is evil, because the only rationalization of using it has you abandoning free will.

  • @phitdemon Or better yet, the world would be a better place without idiotic alcoholics. There are many alcoholics who have the common sense not to get in their cars in their inebriated state.

  • @phitdemon There are irresponsible people who abuse alcohol and then there are alcoholics, i.e. people with an illness. The two aren't always the same.

  • @phitdemon You don't have to be an alcoholic to not do something wrong with alcohol. Did you ever watch those, MAD movies? First time drinkers end up doing stupid things while on the substance. It's hard to respect something if you're a first timer and you have no idea how much is okay to drink for the first time. Do you think a first time drinker has a sense of where the limit is? No. Which leads to situations in which that person or others get hurt and even killed.

  • @phitdemon when the itchy n scratchy parts come on do you give a lecture about the dangers of domestic violence. you must be killer to party with

  • @phitdemon Right you are! Every human alive has the right to get plastered, act like total assholes beat their families then just blame it all on the alcohol. I haven't had a drink in 14 years and 3 months and I'm much better off. Now if I can just quit that nasty heroine...

  • @spacecowboy5000 Seemingly your extended sobriety didn't improve your spelling or grammar, or perhaps I misunderstood you; maybe you really are trying to quit a female hero.

  • @TheFinlandnator

If that was really true, then how come life in Muslim countries where there is virtually no alcohol is so much worse than here?

  • @TheFinlandnator Amen.

  • @TheFinlandnator ok so you would rather campaign against alchohol than against drugs? alchohol you can use in moderation and not get drunk... drugs you use it once and your high.... tell me this. Guns kill people right? no people kill people with guns i dont hear you complaining about those..

a gun is kind of like alchohol

    -misused it is dangerous

-in the wrong hands its dangerous

    -they can both kill

but thats like rare for alchohol to kill lots of people and it CAN be used in moderation.

  • @TheFinlandnator Yeah, I'm sure you're much easier to spend time with when one is sober. Not!

  • @TheFinlandnator What about the people who actually drink responsibly?

  • @TheFinlandnator people can jump off bridges, should bridges be outlawed? I can jam a fork in my eye, so lets ban forks too

Misuse of nearly anything will have negative results, things like alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, etc. are simply scapegoats for people who cant handle that people die because of people, not inanimate objects

  • @TheFinlandnator the world would be a better place without buzzkills

  • @TheFinlandnator I don't get why you got so many negative comments; you were just voicing your opinion on the subject and made a valid argument in my opinion. It's funny how hating something that everybody else likes without ever questioning its detriment or constraint to society and the trouble it causes to those who, out of fear or social stigma, do not speak up about it can make you a type of monster in the eyes of others who are simply too placated to shake the apple cart.

  • @TheFinlandnator the world would be a better place without the anti fun brigade like you.

  • he almost makes whiskey look tasty...too bad it isn't...

  • @Ishbu101 Taste bud fail.

  • @phitdemon I'll stick to zero calorie water and laugh at all the alcoholics...thanks

  • @Ishbu101 "I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day."

    - Frank Sinatra

  • @phitdemon yup... if it were really that simple sobriety would not be a word...

  • @Ishbu101 Neither would "pompous"...

  • @Ishbu101 sobriety = epic fail

  • @Ishbu101 It seems like your taste-buds aren't the only thing about you that's immature. Whiskey has an amazingly complex taste that can initially be hard to appreciate.

Your attitude towards alcohol is absurd. Better men than you have enjoyed it and enjoyed it responsibly too.

It's a drug that has had an astounding effect on the development of society and culture globally, both beneficially and detrimentally. BTW, if that's you in the video on your profile disregard what I say. There's no hope.

  • worst laywer ever

win your case or get a free pizza

  • he sounds like zap branigan

  • Ohhh...you drew Snyder.

    Is that bad?

Well, he's had it in for me since I kinda ran over his dog...except replace the word dog with son and the word kinda with repeatedly.

  • @MrDonkDonkerson That is my favourite Simpsons line. I still chuckle when I hear it

  • The Lionel Hutz you once knew is dead. SAY HELLO TO MIGUEL SANCHEZ!

  • No! Money down.

  • Gum for Less, great name of a store.

  • Whoa Murder 1...even if I lose I'll be famous

  • sounds like he inhaled helium, maybe its just cuz im high. old simpsons are hilarious

  • do you wanna see CRAZY FUNNY videos?

    CLICK ON MY CHANNEL!"

  • Hutz: I didn't win. Here's your pizza.

    Marge: But we did win.

Hutz: That's okay. The box is empty.

  • Haha, I'm in law school right now, I wanna work at "I can't believe its a law firm!" when I graduate.

  • Does anyone know the episode where hutz isn't wearing any pants? :D haven't seen that one for a while ...

  • @texasB666 You want 'Marge In Chains', from season 4.

  • @idiotsdream thx a lot !

  • the case of the never ending story ahahha

  • Does anyone know where I could find the clip where he's in court and Judge Snyder says "Mr Hutz. Do you realize you're not wearing any pants?"

  • Whenever I have a nice cold glass of water on a hot day, I always do the same "OH YEAH", lol.

  • Yeah, but I haven't slept in days.

  • This may not be the place to ask, but exactly why is it wrong to drink scotch or any hard liquor early in the day?

  • @misterl0gic well, I suppose because hard liquors incapacitate you to a certain degree regardless of your tolerance for this substance and therefore makes you ill suited to be a productive member of society for the rest of the day. Unless you work graveyards of course, in which case mornings are your carefree evenings.

  • is it possible to dislike hutz

  • Don't touch my stuff! hey, this isn't the YMCA.

  • Last chance...

  • R.I.P.

  • I miss Lionel hutz.

I mean gils okay, but I loved how hutz was just so idiotic.

I'll never forget the first time the character made me laugh

"oh he's fine, he's okay- WRONG!! YOU ARE NOT OKAY!, YOU ARE IN INCREDIBLE SEARING PAIN!!"

  • fuck tom hicks

  • ooo yehaa!

  • holy crap he just drains that scotch!

  • @rapideye97

    drinks it like water

  • yeah but I haven't slept in days

  • Damn I didn't know he died, rip Phil Hartman, the simpsons definetly changed for the worst after he went.

  • @wesker100000000 Yeah, he died in June 1998. Murdered by his wife :(

  • Hutz makes Homer's alcoholism look just like harmless :P

  • I do miss Phil Hartman, such a shame. His characters were some of the best on The Simpsons.

  • "My problem is I'm a user of women... I move in right away, and then stay until all the money's gone." LOL

  • and i get to keep this bird cage i found in the dumpster!

  • REST IN PEACE Lionel Hutz. REST IN PEACE PHIL HARTMAN

  • somebody step up and make a lionel hutz compilation and post it up on youtube

  • Yeah, I remember. I've seen it since I was a kid.

  • great video thanks for the upload there was never enough hutz really. rip hartman it kinda ruined the show for me a bit. i like the "free consultation? no, money down!"

  • @starcraftfan9112012 Hartman was amazing. Between Hutz and Troy McClure, there was a huge hole left in The Simpsons when he died. I totally would have bought an almost-full Orange Julius from him. ;-)

  • @phitdemon haha my freezer is full of popsicles and i have an unused cat box.

  • @starcraftfan9112012 My first born son shall be christened Miguel Sanchez.

  • @phitdemon mine shall be to

  • @phitdemon i thought his name was pepe?

  • @starcraftfan9112012 No, that'll be my second born. :D

  • @phitdemon what episode is this? is it the one where burns hits on marge?

  • @phitdemon Or better yet, Sunlax: The only sunscreen lotion that's also a laxative!

  • @thatsbriiskbaby I think you mean "Sun 'n' Run".

  • @starcraftfan9112012 oops...shouldn't have this bar association logo here either (rips off and eats)

  • sweet liquor...brownest of the browns.....whats that you want me to drink you...but i'm in the middle of a trial.

  • Is this the PAL version, or has Lionel Hutz been doing some helium as well?

  • @bondfool I'm guessing not. It was a downloaded version of the episode, so it's probably US based, hence it's most likely NTSC.

  • most underrated part, "It's 9:30 in the morning. Yeah but I haven't slept in days." Because we all know sleep deprivation cancels out the effects of alcohol :P

  • thank goodness lionel became today's top footballer cause as a lawyer he stinks !

  • lol great clip.

i also like the one where hes in prison and trying to give legal advice "PIDE DOWN IN THERE HUTZ!!"

  • Mr Hutz, do you realize you're not wearing any pants?

    What? AHH!

  • Your Honor, I'd like to move for a ah...... bad court thingy.......

  • needs more bourbon - brownest of the brown liquors.

  • Lionel Hutz is GREAT!

  • this is the standard for my country's lawyers...im costarican....

  • "Mr Hutz. Do you realize you're not wearing any pants?"

    "i....AHH!"

  • ROFL - the name of his law firm is "I can't Believe its a Law firm"

  • He reminds me of "That Guy" from Futurama. Always has for some reason.

  • Well that makes sense, seing as how Futurama borrows heavily from the Simpsons.

  • I know :)

  • My hero, belt of scotch, wtf is it 1969, i was born in '83 but hey it makes sense 2 me

  • god rest phil hartman.

  • Works on A Contingency Basis? No, Money Down!

  • what episode is that quote from? Ive been dying to find out.

  • It's on series four and it's called 'Marge Gets a Job'.

  • the episode when marge works at the power plant. she sues mr burns for harassment. Tom Jones was the guest
