Maybe stop turning the throttle so much, it could flood it and make it harder to start.

Then get a eletric starter, save your leg and back!

You must kick about 3 times with ingnition off...after that you turn on and kick again! is gonna work!

Bring that kicker all the way to the top before you kick it through and you'll have better luck

Nice bike !! I have a 78 FLH--Electric start---no kick--I don't know if it was an option or not but watching this makes me glad I have electric. Again--nice bike !!!!!!!!

I have a 78 harley superglide and it starts just as hard as yours. I put an electric start on the thing. It still starts with much effort. I love the bike though. Your bike
