  • i think he is playing around and at master level a pinch could hurt very badly

  • His structure is not good he is too shallow perhaps he has shoulder problems?

  • some people will teach anything

  • Sorry, can't post up the web address.

  • Also, enjoy my video

  • Thanks. Dr. P.S. Tao is my teacher.

  • Excellent! Very natural relaxed posture, small circles... high level of tai chi. See also Cheng Man Ching, Dr. P. S. Tao & Russian Systema. All similar ideas & body mechanics.

  • Thanks for every comment. Come to me and you can better understand what I am doing.

  • @ sickofdao : I agree he is not realy standing strong, altough this is hard to evaluate. When you progress onto a certean level of taichi, form wil not be importent no more, you only need a structure or form at first to learn a certean principle ore a certain state of being. At first you learn the form, then the form starts teaching you, when you have learned enough, you don't need a form or structure anymore.

  • @jmangonepro : This man is not so talking about technique or form. He is talking about the state of mind in tai chi. Your body is your hand and your hand is your body. He says don't bother bout the attack coming to you. Dont react with stenght or fear. Just don't care.

  • 怎麼看都不像太極拳!

  • 這樣也能出師...

  • this is one of my favorite videos. I know people who have NO experience with martial arts, look at this and think. ya right, i'd just plow through this guy, but oh NO. Look how beautiful and gentle and AFFECTIVE it is.

    You are amazing Fred Hao

  • Horrible dis-information .

  • YES!

  • 唉.....

  • ughhh,,,, i really dont understand what this shows. Inorder to really show strength in tai chi, is to do proper pushhands.

  • garbage

  • enssence of something i'd like to know about martial art...cooliest movement ever!!! whats difference in Bagua hands and pushing hands?

  • Fred said: "Cloudy hands is actually NOT cloudy hands". Why is it called Cloud Hands since most of the defense is really in the footwork? This is actually very similar to how one moves in BaGua.

  • This is really good. Are there any more videos of this group playing hands?

  • Search the YouTube using key words FRED HAO.

  • most important you must guard your four corners namely shoulder and kua do not break these four corners,

  • I believe that the whole thing lies in the spine and kua with relaxation

  • The essence of tai chi well explained. Thanks.

  • Please feel free to join us.

  • hmm... i dont think hes performing it fully. arms closed in hes already collasped. making him vulnerable.

  • I think you have a point.

  • He seems pretty comfortable to me, when his arms are in he is employing the elbows or shoulders. You never see his spine disrupted, so you can hardly say that he is collapsed. My understanding of minimalism is this, think of it this way - when he does not use his arms, he is free to hit you at the same time. Every boxer knows that a dodge or slip is better that a block or deflection for this reason.

  • Maybe a worst case scenario demonstration?

  • maybe.

  • Great....
