i think it's more an egyptian way of dancing mixing baladi and saaidi style. The music is indeed from syria or lebanon, it is a folkloric song and the way of dancing is not really classical belly dance but traditional.

samira tawfik only sang a version of it, i dont think she was the first to sing it coz its an old folk song from balad al-sham area.

Very interesting dancing. This is obviously Middle Easten in origin but I wish I knew more about it. Maybe someone can contribute more knowledge.

We call it Raqs Sharqi translates as Eastern dancing. It's belly dancing, you can check out Arabic belly dancers on you tube.
