Yes, it was brutal. Especially Axel, the damage he was doing to me vs the damage I was doing to him was insanity. Thats why Adell decided to set free the trapped Yukimaru. Because I was confident after being a tank the whole mission, Adell wasn't going to be able to beat Axel.
One of my favorite parts was when Tink handled the gunners and archers at the start. Nobody but Adell can endure such harsh punishment. Which I saw by a previous attempt where Yukimaru got destroyed in the first turn. lol

As for the nobody being able to heal. I went as far as I could in the game without my characters learning any magic. I believe towards the end of the Shinra Tower I remembered that Shura can only be damaged by magic attacks. So I had to make lackys level them in repeats. Then learn The skills. Which essentially turned the girls into mage/clerics. Rozalin & Hanako will eventually start using healing spells & magic. I gave Yukimaru an ice spell also for the occassion. I've watched the entire 35th battle from part A to part C. I must say, you've endured a lot in this stage.. :O
Long range attacks are a must for defeating the archers and gunners in those far-away platforms. However, some require SP which you need for fighting against Axel. The Heavy Knights are very sturdy to defeat.
And it's so difficult that only Taro can heal himself, which also requires SP. Yukimaru was the last woman standing in the end.
