I always wondered how they did these "people who know each other" types of things. Do they ask everyone who applies to be on the show to list every ex, then go around and beg those exes to spend 3 months on a reality TV show with their exes?

i think they know about the exes before hand.. but they just act surprised when its announced

@stephfaris They don't have them list every ex, but I believe part of the process is talking about past relationships. I think in a later episode, Alison admits that she didn't originally try out for the show, but was contacted because Justin auditioned. That's probably why she's so nervous in this episode.
