  • thought this film was excellent.it reminds me of the crime noir films of the 1930's and 40's.loved the scenes with cusak and oliver platt, there chemistry was on the money.harold ramis did a hell of a job directing this film.the settings were awesome.i loved how it was so cold, dark, miserable and of course icy.

  • this is a great film.it reminds me of the crime noir films from the 1930's and 40's.i love the scenes with john cusak and oliver platt, there chemistry was on the money.billy bob was great in his role.i also loved the setting, it was so dark, cold, miserable and of course icy.harold ramis did an excellent job directing this film.

  • It has an awesome opening

  • @SirBullet754

Its Eels, If i'm not wrong!

  • @innitstrange yes, Eels - Trouble With Dreams

  • who sings in the beginning ?

  • whats the song used in the trailer

  • Oliver Platt is great in this movie... and completely drunk!!! Love it!

  • I just bought this and Shaun Of The Dead yesterday. But this film is so incredibly underrated and misappreciated.

  • love john cusack....

    he is so hot...

  • @GabriellovesSatan so am i

  • Connie Nielsen was real sexy in that film and yes Ice Harvest was an underrated awesome film directed by Harold Ramis. Cusack, Nielsen, Thornton, Quaid, and Platt did an excellent job in that film.

  • because it is a movie that people, hmmm, how do I put this diplomatically, people with higher IQ's will enjoy viewing. It certainly isn't your average commercial Hollywood grind out. No, this movie actually has a little thought behind it. I Very much relished this movie as it is a pure delight.

  • talented actress like Connie who also happens to have exceptionally sexy legs. And Harold Ramis does indeed take full advantage by having her wear those super sexy stockings and then proceeds to film her legs in a prolonged scene giving the audience plenty of time to study and examine those perfect legs. And John Cusack's scenes with Oliver Platt are pure enjoyment. Perfection. I'm hoping it is going to be on soon. Usually it is on this time of year. It didn't do well in terms of box office

  • This is one of those RARE movies that is soooooo damn good yet hardly receives any recognition except from you intelligent people that comment here and I might also add that you all have exceptional taste. And I am being dead serious. I friggin love this movie. So much fantastic dialogue captured. And the ever delicious Connie Nielsen looks even more delectable in her stockings. It's so rare that you find a director that takes full advantage of a situation where he has a smoking hot beautiful

  • LOVE this movie, it's on my Holiday movies list

  • One of THE most underrated movies of the 21st century!!!!

  • Kans-ass!

  • The first song is Little Drummer Boy, arranged and performed by David Kitay (don't try to find it, it was recorded for this movie and isn't even available on the soundtrack). The second song is Trouble With Dreams by Eels.

  • I love John Cusack, I love Billy Bob Thornton, & Oliver Platt is always awesome. U cannot go wrong with this film.

  • man oliver plann kicks so much ass in this! "Get the fukin HERE! hehe"

  • for the duration of the movie, acting and script remain good. Worth a watch,a heist movie.

  • This seems to be a good film. Too bad Randy Quaid hasn't been healthy lately.

  • okay, i know this comment is old but i felt like i had to respond. "Mellisa" in the movie is actaully played by one of my classmates! i just looked up the trailer to see if she was in it, but no. she is a child model/actress, and has only been in this movie, but she was in a few magazines and a mcdonalds comercial. awesome huh?

  • this movie rocks!!

  • Anyone know the name of the second song, or who plays it?

  • It's by eels.

    It's called Trouble with Dreams.

  • I know. It's definitely underrated. It deserved more credit than it got. It's one of my favs too.

  • @mc04su yes it does deserve more credit. i love this movie. the way it ended was just sooooooo perfect. it could not have ended any better.

  • @imurfav i totally agree. the ending really messed my head up like the movie swordfish did. i didnt expect that 2 happen at all. love it. lol. but the very very end i was like wow that was so nice of charlie. "where r we, we're in heaven, do they have pancakes, they have everything"

  • A lot of people didn't like this movie and it didn't do well at the movies.

Me? I loved it. I thought the whole atmosphere of the movie was great. Most movies John Cusack takes on are intelligent.

  • You're right. I loved it as well. It mixed humor, violence, and intelligence just right.

  • I like when he gets stabbed in the foot, his reaction to that was priceless but, only because of the scenario with him and his "dream girl".

  • whats this christmas song called

  • Well the song that starts at about 00:46 is called "Trouble With Dreams" by Eels. It's a good song and music video. I hope that that was what you were talking about:)

  • AHAHAHAH!!! John Cusack+Billy Bob Thorton = ENDLESS LAUGHTER... godd, i love em'!<3

  • actually i loved the film......cant stand serendipity, now thats a bad cusack film

  • A lot of this movie was filmed in Waukegan,Illinois...The opening scene is the bank in downtown Waukegan..and several other scenes were shot in and around town...Blues Brothers, and Planes Trains and Automobiles and one of the Batman movies were also shot here...

  • Thanks for ruining it.

  • Dont trust anybody.

  • hows it misleading

it's actually a fuking good trailer.

made me want to see it.

  • completely agree, I loved the trailer!!

However I didn't care for the movie a whole lot!!
