The unison was good but as a drill routine the choreography just isn't dynamic enough. There's simply too much standing still, marking time on the spot and waiting around for others to get into position. They're also not utilizing the entire area of the parade ground enough to give the kind of visual depth that the sheer number of these many performers should otherwise provide. Well intended but too ambitious.

Is it really a silent drill though? There are no verbal commands here, but they're keeping in tune with the music...

Yes, its silent drill--- silent drill done the way the RAF does it, which is set to music, whereas US style may not.
