Why doesnt everyone just stop with the hate comments and just listen to the nasheed? For everyones information Ahmed Bukhatir has always kept a small beard (maybe its because of personal preference) and it makes sense that he might be wearing what he's wearing to prove a point, as @merzirara rightly pointed out. Its the words of the nasheed you should be looking at anyway, not how the artist looks.

Salaam , im really sad to see the reactions here. Dressing up in Arabic robe, having a big beard does not make you a muslim, You can dress up in western, arabic, asian as long as you cover as Islam states. Having beard wont matter if your heart doesnt contain love and tolerance for others. I'm very sad to muslim world is full of ignorance/ jahalah, they forgot Islam of peace and love. صراحة احب كلمات المنشد أحمد بوخاطر كونها هادفة و كذلك الفيديوهات التي تجسد الكلمات و مضمونها.. و لكن ليس هناك نص شرعي يدعونا ان نمثل دور العصاة و نلبس ملابس الغرب الفاضحة لنوصل الرسالة ... تفاجأت كثيرا بهذا الفيديو و لا اخي ان المنشد سقط من عيني كثيرا و ما كنت اتمنى ذلك أين هو من نشيد الحجاب و أمي و فارتقي و و و و و و شتان بينهم و ما نرى..أرجو من الله عز و جل ان يعود المنشد لما كان عليه..لأنه حتى و لو كان مضمون الفيديو ايجابي فالكثير من المعجبين سيقلدونه

If you listen to the subtitles and get the sense and meaning of the song, u might understand why he chose jeans and "western" look in this video. The subtitles record many of todays problem in "the modern world". I dont he is a stupid guy who just wanted to change clothes. This choice may have been taken to be able to turn this video to the community. How many of us do wear the muslim clothes he used in the last video? He is maybe trying to say that he is the same as us...

I don't know why some misguided Muslims think that just because someone is wearing a thobe, kufi or otherwise, makes them more worth hearing or more pious. While being modest in clothing is important, whats more important is the message and whether he is living the life he proclaims to live for Allah; and even that, is between him and Allah.
