I'm the first to admit that democrats have had a role in the economic crisis. The problem I have is with people who think the republicans have been "saints" who are only being "blocked" by the dems.
It's quite clear that both parties have made similar mistakes. For God's sake, half of the GOP believes that the government shouldn't do a damn thing to fix the economy, simply because it would go against their principles.

Unfortunately in the USA we live in an era where we expect instant results. Cramer needs to hunker down and realize that we need to weather the economic storm; that things will turn around eventually. Give me a break, Obama has been in office for less than 3 months. What do people expect. We have been burning billions of dollars in Iraq for the past 7 years. So what's wrong with now spending this money on the good old USA. The investment in alternative energy is an investement.

Investing should be done by investors. Loans (which is what this deficit spending is) should not be taken out by Obama to gamble on alternative energy projects or meddle with other industries.
A bad decision is bad regardless of what day it is made on.
I don't think people were expecting Obama to fix anything instantly. They were expecting to be worried about the economy... they weren't expecting to be more worried about Obama's fascist policies than the economy itself, though.

Jim Cramer's financial advice is the worst advice you can take. He is no longer valid in today's finacial climate. Cramer's advice is ONLY for the wealthy and that type of advice has kept the middle class and middle class poor at a great disadvantage. The financial problems that now plague us are ALL the doings of George W Bush and to try and smear Obama with that brush is pure racial hatred coming from a short chubby white bald guy who is just discovering that he is no longer relevant.

The filibuster delays or possibly prevents a vote to move through congress combine that with the veto threat you can't really say they had any real power. Even though there's plenty of blame to spread around the majority of this mess is the result of Bushs falied policies and republicans reluctanse to push through any bill bush wanted with no veto threat during those 6 years.

You're forgetting that Democrats in Congress blocked legislation S190 that would've brought more oversight to Fannie & Freddie. While there were 11 Republicans & 9 Democrats, no democrats supported. Therefore, it was "pigeon-holed".
Also, don't forget that Democrats in Congress threatened to hold up funding for the troops if Bush vetoed their largest budget in Congressional history

obama added those cost to his budget showing more transparency and the true cost of war.
