New Layout update video

hello im wondering whats the size of the layout is and how wide are the baseboards

@narutoshippudenfan1 It's around 11 1/2 foot by 12 foot. The width of the boards are just over 1 foot wide & also 1 1/2 foot wide. This is for the lower level of the base board.

No, i've had the idea of an upper level on a layout for around 20 years now. Got the idea from some old model railway mag's. Cheers.

If it was a weekend when filming the layout, it'd be a pint glass instead of the Kit Kat mug....... heh heh!! Slow going at the moment, but I'm slowly getting there. Hope it's all going okay with your 1st layout build.Cheers

Possibly much later on this year.There is another 8 boards & a ramp to make for the upper level & install.Track to be laid & wired up on the lower level & then for the upper level(once built).Then there will be all the scenic stuff to get started on... I'll be doing more update videos as work progresses.Regards.

The kitchen looked like a wood yard with all the plywood & soft wood, while making these boards up etc.Now starting on laying the track on these lower level boards.More videos will be following.Hows your layout coming along? Cheers.
