I have to ask is that dolley cole pond polluted bcuz i know lots of ponds in ri are polluted and its just sad what they do to those poor ponds like mashapaug near elmwood once i saw a stove in there and mashapuag has one of the most dangerous toxicans known to humans us americans in the colonial time just took this beautiful land from the indians and destroyed it i bet if the indians still had this land it will look the same how it did 400 years ago

@WackoHouseProduction As far as I know it is not polluted, the area was mostly farms and not alot of industry. The water might have gun shells in it, but the area was well kept by the locals.

Just about all legends have some basis in fact. Over time, these happenings are sometimes built upon to hold peoples interest. One thing however, the supernatural is a part of our science and universe that we are barely begining to understand. Plus, gun happy republicans are what keeps one safe in their homes, the police, for the great job they do, cannot be everywhere at once. Thanks for putting the video on.

hey my names dave and im a filmmaker and i was thinking of doing a movie about her, not a documentary but a ghost hunt adventure movie with a script, and like she haunts the road and kills a teenage.. is this place safe beside the club shoot down in the woods?

It's safe, its hardly traveled by vehicles, the cemetery isnt far off the road, at night might be more hard to navigate but with flashlights and slow speed all is well.

i used to live on this road, the next house up past the brook. on the left, creepy house i hated it. there where two brothers that deid in the civil war buried like legit right out the back door. there was old foundations and olds saws and stuff up in the woods. me and my buddies used to go up there at like 2 in the morning it was spooky stuff

Yes the Ladd is almost gone, plus security is high, but wouldn't be surprise there are hauntings even after the reconstructing

the only other info I could find on her death was a small newspaper filler article. The same time of her death the lizzy borden murders took place wich kinda took precidence.

Yes I am aware of that, but I have been told that the accused "witch" wasn't even named Dolly Cole, but something else. That's he thing with legends, they mixed fact with fiction.

I'm a hunter wanted to share what facts I've gotten. Her name was Dorothy Ellen Cole, born 1866. she was 27 and died in 1893. It is also conflicting cause one article says she was found near ramstail road, another in a brook. All official records are lost however so it's unknown if the killer was caught. You'd need to speak with the cranston fish and game to get permission to the sportsman's club if you wanna investigate. There is also reports she was burned alive. Lots of conflicting stuff.

I've been up in the area, she wasn't a witch. The towns people did accuse her, while she was out at the tearoom the brothel she ran they burned down her house and her daughter was trapped inside. She did swear revenge. she was found floating in what is now dolly cole brook. 1 week before a servant girl was found dead in the same style in the same area. The rod and gun club has been the site of numberous full bodied encounters. It's posted and the tea room is now a home.

I grew up in the 1960s in that area, fished & hunted all those woods. Never once had an unusual "experience." Moreover, never heard anyone talk about weird stuff like this. Wonder why Democrats are so fascinated with these ghost stories?

I lived on North RD and if you walk the trails in the back behind the new crematory its really old and if you know you way around the woods the old cabin is in the back of the borders farm at the red house where i lived... but i would not reccomend going back their because charles would probably shoot your ass for going back their but check it out

I am from Foster...and I have researched/ visited most of the haunted places there. Ram Tail Mill is only a foundation, but some claim to see a man with a lantern walking through the woods at night and claim it is the spirit of the night watchmen Peleg Walker who commited suicide by hanging himself from the bell rope. Let me know if you would like to hear more about ghosts in the area...I would be happy to tell!

and the body was throw in the brook and wasn't found for a week, and a little girl found her all chew up and some poeple at nite if you looking at brook you will see the body fighting off a dog

Oh yes, I do plan on doing the Ram Trail, I think there is also a factory there that is abandon where someone committed suicide.
