As a beginner, I am reallllly struggling. I thought "pixelmator tutorial number 1" must be aimed at beginners, but apparently not. You direct us to "make a gradient" but don't tell us how! I tried to use the Pixelmator manual and managed to make a horizontal gradient. I still have no idea how to make a vertical one.

Anyone know of a complete beginner's tutorial?
