Linux is good for a few things but just for the simple things. No collaboration, standards, set across the board for apps. Sorry but its a techie with wet dreams, lives in moms house, and no real world experience that thinks Linux tops MS.
However, it does make for an awesome base thin client to run Virtual machines (XP, 7 or anything you want to play with) on top of.
Mac or Open Linux.Ubuntu,Browser based systems...Windows hegemony is coming to a close .Thank Buddha.Microsoft is to fat an needs to be kicked to the curb. They attacked everyone with legal challenges. One company owning that much intellectual real-estate is dangerous.Ballmer looks like a fat arrogant over the hill executive
"lmao Mac isnt open.. it blatantly violates the copyright misuse doctrine by sabbotaging its code to prevent it on running on other hardware."
It didn't prevent me from installing it on 3 of my PC's...you just have to buy parts that are compatible with the OS...no one including Microsoft is obligated to make drivers for every piece of hardware on the market...but Microsoft does cause they want a bigger piece of the pie...
Actually MS is very good with dealing with hardware vendors ... and hardware and software vendors WANT that relationship.. because THEY know that MS has most of the market thus they want that part of the PIE.
OSX illegally puts sabotage code .. and without the EFI requirement - it usually crashes during an install. Yes I have a hacked version of it too ( a VM version).
But anyone Hardware or software vendor that has dealt with Apple knows its like requesting to be raped.
Uh? you need an OS to run a browser.Windows tried to turn IE into an html based OS back around IE 4 or 5, however they gave up. If your OS just happens to be a system resource hog(vista), then your browser might not work so hot. I'm not saying 7 sux less, but they say it does. Linux is way more efficient at utilizing system resources than windows anyways, and you can use windows programs with Wine
steve ballmer? i think it was also the name of sony's ceo lol

And you say MS is coming to a close.. well wow.. with still 90% of the market?! Are you giving steve jobs a hand job while writing this tripe?
So far MS is the only software company to give collaboration across the board to hardware and software vendors.
OSX is for stupid sheep that just want to APPEAR tech savvy - but are simply retarded.
