But two things I have to say/see: the glasses faling very hard and doesnt splitt in more pieces. Looks a little unrealistic. Also when the pilot jumps out of the ship at the end of the film.

This is probably the most complete work of all that VFS has published up to this day. The only thing that spoiled the moment was the shattering glass and maybe the waves (just a little though). That said, Ali seems to be into everything, from conceptualisation and modelling, up to particles and physics. Great reel, ILM-worthy artist :)

I know Nazis are always overused but I think it could have worked with the story/concept and could have been somewhat related to the Iron Sky movie gag thing or just a cool little thing to hold together cause the Soviets weren't all that scary compared to the Nazis, but that's just me cause I'm anti religious, but that's beside the point! Otherwise, aside from my unrelated ranting, very good job with the animation and compositing, but like someone said already, take the guy with the gun out...

The only two problems are:

- the man in the UCSDF... why would there be only one person in the central command?

- When the soviet gets out of the machine at the memorial. Couldn't you get some green box or podest the actor could jump down from to get a more realistic jump?

All in all is the video great. All those details and light is amazing!

@Capeau If you think of it as a video game, the acting isn't so bad. This is very typical of a video game intro. The acting in old "Red Alert" games is not good, or realistic. Red Alert was VERY popular when it came out.
