Look, i don't know who the fuck you are or what's in your ears or what kind of aversion you have to Sonic youth but they actually do a better version of this and "Youth' is a state of mind not an age. I guarantee that you will look older then them when your pushing 60 and if you play music at all then you will sound older then them as well. they have found something very few artists will find,solidarity and longevity.
Jaki is the best drummer ever. He is fiercely committed to the groove, a fill becomes a part, not a fill, it is never tangential, is always wrapped tightly around the beat

hawkwind were kind of like these cats as well. hard beats,fast space punk shit. all though these guys have some other tunes that are pure insane. slow trip out jams. love all these old progressive bands wish we had alot more these days, not enough.
