As a Thai. I would say the new Changi Airport T3 is second to none. Though we might brag a lot about the architecture, yes it's extremely modern with all those glass and steel design, but it lacks "life".
T3 though looks like a piece of shit from the outside but the interior is superior to even new London's and Beijing's terminal.
It's not easy to compete with Changi but we have to remember that Singapore's airport plays a big part of its economy. While for us it's like 1% of our GDP.

Oh Don Muaang airport in Bangkok is not closed though. It's still being used for some domestic flights. And it's very convenient if you want to avoid the crowd of international passengers at Suvarnabhumi too.

Well I think changi airport is better due to
1. infrastructure of the airport
2. duty-free shopping is second to none
3. superior dining options (so I've heard)
4. modern design of T3 which includes unique skylight system, excellent style combining nature and waterfalls etc combined with luxurious touches
5. T2 is still a world-class facility overall and T1 is about to undergo major rennovation, also SIN has received more awards than any other airport
6. changi is very efficient

Well its subjective which airport is really the best. My personal favorite is Changi, however HKG and Incheon are quite nice. I found their environment to be a bit sterile though. BKK was a bit underwhelming for me but its definitely an improvement over Don Muang.

I missed my flight,the counter said to bad you bought e-tickets from our site,next trip buy direct.
I was just stunned of the Bangkok Thai airways ticket counter was so rude but lacking in any sort of professionalism.She sure didnt care if I ever got on a plane at the least
But they did have the cheapest JFK to Bkk non stop so I bit the bullet and paid additional 400 usd to re book my flight so I could get home

Sawasdee is just a greeting. Excuse my bad phonetic spelling but it's close enough, but 'Cortod' is sorry and thank you is 'kopcun'. Also if you say 'cah' (Girl) and 'Kup' (Boy) after any of these three, it is considered more polite.
