  • Most people don't understand that it's not how the punches and kicks look, but how they're executed. Fighting is not about looking cool, but being effective. This demonstration also shows flexibility and precision gained through years of training.

  • oh my... that's really impressive, going from real (taichi-like) slow, then suddenly the explosiveness and speed in his moves O_O you just know you don't wanna mess with him.

  • woww thats fast

  • /watch?v=qfzAptBftwU is a nother video of him when he was really young and SUPER FAST

  • In the beginning, I thought he was Goldust.

  • @ ACEMFG boxer/jujitsu player? player?? you're kidding me. In no way am I discrediting monks, but I must state this.

For each martial art, there is it's counter-art.

Ninjutsu to Samurai or Judo to Kempo for examples, so it stems down to the singular ability of a person, not reputation of the class of warriors he trains with.

In the several years I have trained in Ninjustu and Ryu-ken-kessen not once have I ever heard anyone reference themselves as a boxer/jujitsu "player".

  • What is the move calls when he jumped on the floor then roll on his back then comes back up?

  • at the begining i was like " is he gonna do anything -_-"

then i was like " HOLY SHIT HES GOOD :O"

  • @DiSoNeNcBoI a monk dosent need ufc style, they are trained to kill, thats it. they dont fight, they KILL.

  • background: ARANY OLDALAK :D

    Hungary WIN (Y)

  • He's good ,but not the best.,and if you want to learn real kung fu never learn from the local kung fu schools get trained from a monk.if you find one lol

  • @Raiyanc6 I see no problems inn learning kung fu from a locak gym/school, you just need to check the history of the Sifu, my local Kung fu school have a Sifu who has trained kung fu for over 40 years and is one of the very best. and he is no monk thats for shure.

  • Why does everyone keep saying he fell down??? I take it this must be the first shaolin kung fu form you have ever bothered to watch. Watch a few more and you will see it again and again and again. Break falling is a great form of conditioning. Moves great for an older guy. All the guys his age in western society have big guts and can only be described as oafish in there movement. Respect to these guys for what they can do.

  • hahaha he falled down call that a master ?

  • @NooRGNooR .-. er...i think u cant see the true things behind it...

  • @NooRGNooR he fell down* Im pretty sure he didnt fall down on purpose either. he's just demostrating how he can fight on the ground too I think.

  • @NooRGNooR i want see your leopard style :D

  • Im a Japanese Karate guy and these guys are amazing at what they do. I hope to see one day a monk whoops the shit outa of everyone in the UFC. To prove that traditonal MA can still be apllied to modern day fighting. Shut some people up. Like Lyoto Machida did that traditional training can be just as effective.

  • @shotojojo1986 i do karate too! as for monks in UFC that would be cool! the only problem is i really doubt a monk would do that since they fight purely for self defence and not for sport or glory and especially not money! but yup that would be sooooo cool! i think that's why i respect them so much is because they have such mastery over themselves!

  • Mastery. Amitabha.

For those who have so many negative opinions, I encourage you to train with a Shaolin monk and see for yourselves how much you can learn. Respect yourself.

  • What is the move that he doees and 0:32 called when he slides on the floor

  • Holy mud.....

  • Shi deqing ,it's an artist, not a brawler ,there's just no comparison with an mma athlete, and he trains ops in Budapest,he's a real badass,Matt Polly describes him well in his book American shaolin

  • nevermind 0:30 PWNAGE!!!

  • that was no pwnage that was planed

  • PWNAGE!!!!!!! 0:31

  • LOL !!!!!!!! HE FALLED !!!!!!!

dont think about posting some retarded answer to me like, duuuh ! thats the point or whatever, know...

it was just a joke so chill out

  • Falled. :)

    Fell

    Nice joke. :)

  • everybody must meet with him live!!! he's always so happy and calm. He's the best shaolin master in the world, and he teaches kungfu in Hungary, in Budapest. I've met him!:), and he is a charming person!!!

  • sounds like a very huggable person

  • I don't think a real MMA fighter has ever fought a REAL monk!!!

I'm from MMA and I totally respect real kung fu! There's nothing like it in the world.

    Trust me!

    1. don't look at the moves he does!

    2. don't look at the shape he's in!

    it is irrelevant!

    3. never try to some up what you can't see!

  • I don't know who this master is or if he's real good or not, trust me I'm a boxer/jujitsu player and i got to meet a real monk and trained with him for several years. they are a lot better then most people believe they are.

the people have been mislead by local kung fu schools who "do not" know the real stuff. but hey I'm just trying to be honest. like i said I'm a jujitsu player and I hate martial art schools that sell crap.

  • Agreed. Kung fu is just too difficult to practice for most people. Even in ancient China, there were only ever a handful that made it into the trade at any given point in history. There is just no way that an average contemporary modern American athlete could gain real kung fu, let alone the nerds that fill these schools.

  • Amen.

  • @ACEMFG i know how you feel man. im sure there are valid traditional chinese fighting forms out there practiced and maintained by people who understand there applications. but it's very very hard to find. i haven't ever seen a kung fu school that didn't make me all depressed and disapionted. this guy does what hes doing well with alot of speed precision and concentration. i'd be interested in learning whether this is something coreographed recently or a traditional kung fu from.

  • @moltenthoughts

i practice kung fu at a kung fu school in my town and my sifu trained with monks for a couple of years. he is/was also world champion tai chi. we learn traditional chinese animal forms and shaolin forms and traditional weapon forms. so i'm really lucky with my sifu, but in a town near me there is a school thats all rubbish. it's really sad to see what some people sell as real kung fu these days.

    cheers

  • @ACEMFG Whats the name of the monk? =)

  • @ACEMFG there are some really good martial arts schools too though

  • @ACEMFG Hes one of the best of the 32nd generation, when he was younger his speed was unbelieavable

  • @oscie1 He is one of the fastest (maybe the fastest) monks.

  • @oscie1 Do you know his kung fu brother shi xing peng? He is also very fast.

  • @MartialArtsCN No i dont i will go and check him out.

  • @ACEMFG cool so can they really fight?

  • It probably wouldn't feel so great to get 3 of those feather punches in the throat before you could blink though.

  • Its not that I just think their techniques are better for a fight MMA training makes you an 8 in every situation but Shaolin monks are only good on their hands and feet. If you were to take one down and work him you'd have him finished. I think their training is good for you as it is very healthy for your muscles but as a figher I think their ways are long gone.

  • You know your probably right. But here's the thing, they can defend themselves. Maybe not as good as a top rated champion UFC fighter. But so what, they can fight well, very well!. And wouldn't it be a shame if all the monks were gone and we never got to see this art again? I think they are just fantastic!!!

  • Oh yeah so do I and you're right we would miss them if they were gone i suppose its a bit like the ninja

  • They do train ground work as well.

  • dude, thank you for respecting other martial arts. that is the spirit we should all have.

this is a great performance of an art i havn't heard of! bravo.

  • Your welcome.

  • @ACEMFG your a good guy as you keep it real, most people just hate on others and say nothing but bad things.

  • @ACEMFG Yeah. They don't fight for no reason. So it probably will never happen.

  • @ACEMFG ... hahaha its funny how people can just claim they are real fighters online and yet no videos or anything to prove for it.

  • I lthink the leopard style is the best among the chinese kung fu methods right?Nothing defeats the leopard style

  • It also doesn't mean it is necessarily ineffective either. In fact speed, snap, balance, power, flexibility, focus etc, are all elements of a very effective individual. There's no such thing as superior styles only superior individuals. If your more interested in what is popular at the time then your missing the point.

  • it may look cool but that doesn't mean it s nessarly effective...

  • he's actually a badass. look him up. he's one of the best fighters to come out of the Shaolin Temple and currently trains the Special Forces.

  • very cool. great speed, snap and lower body support. thanks for posting

  • 1! 2! 3! ...OWNED!

  • Where? Információ és reklámhordozó!

  • it look like he just threw himself

  • ohhhhh shit thats my nigga right there hardcore

  • lol

  • wouldent wanna pickup a fight with him LOL!

  • Pure fighting art.

  • I dont get why people watch these videos, and then leave a comment about how shite the videos are.

To be honest, I am genuinely interested in this stuff, so I watch these videos to see if I can learn some tricks / better my own Martial Arts. Obviously all the martial arts in the world is useless if some thug is gonna shoot you! but nobody can dodge bullets!

Martial Arts is there to give you an edge in close combat situations, so you don't get stabbed or beat up.

    I honestly liked this video!!

  • he would totally kick ur ass!!! lol

  • so cool man!!!!!

  • kicsit gyors a csávó :D

  • what is the name of this music?

    i search something like this...

  • WOW....

the people who say this looks like BBoying, really dont know the difference between martial arts and Breaking. Get outta here!!! it looks nothing like Bboying

  • poo4breakfast, LOLOLOL chuck norris is my cousin sorry u lose lol ^^ and also yo i got a shoddering gun one shot u got no fancy shit to do now? LOL dude u rock

  • Yes, well I own a gun. What good will all your fancy wad of raw poo karate get you when you've been shot? lol

  • i don't think that's the point of martial arts. lol

  • I think Pitsadouche has got it wrong too lol. Threating people over the internet with his extensive collection of belts.

  • Krav Maga teaches nearly every disarming technique.

  • Good luck disarming me if I'm standing two metres away.

  • Then id use a technique called bursting and destroy your trachea. If not, id get my brothers to shoot you. easy.

  • Chuck Norris is my cousin. Sorry man, you lose.

  • Woo, flame war! If you had half a brain, you would never use martial arts, to ATTACK an armed person who actually knows how to use their gun.

Even Krav Maga would teach you to just give up your wallet or phone if someone tried to rob you at gunpoint and let you go at that.

  • Just like a bitch to rely on his sidearm. Didnt your dad teach you to stand and fight like a man? Or are you a fatherless wase of your moms egg.

  • Just like a dumbass hick to not read back a little bit and gain some perspective. Did your dad fuck his sister and forget to punch her in the stomach after or were you just dropped on your head at a very young age?

  • Lol that reply made my day. Thanks you.

  • Even I chuckled once I had gone back and read them lol, thanks.

  • Oh man, I better not mess with someone who has TWO BLACKBELTS! Don't you mean a second degree blackbelt?

  • well i believe kung fu's been around longer than breakdancing....and his "windmill" is a falling/recovery move.

  • more like a breakdancer than a fighter

  • Say that to his face.

  • I wasnt taking the piss you knob, he looked like he was breakdancing.

Plus I doubt he would beat the shit out of me and risk a prison sentence for saying he looks like a breakdancer. Use your common sense you idiot.

  • No need to get antsy gomer.

You must be some sort of superior class of human being for suggesting that I make use of my common sense!

Where is the common sense in insulting a shaolin monk?

  • I wasnt insulting him, I think he looks like hes breakdancing. Look at the breakdancing move "Windmill" on youtube.

  • Well, if I were a shaolin monk displaying my years of training, and some little puke told me I looked like I was breakdancing, I would definitely "risk a prison sentence" and breakdance you to death.

  • Then id get my 5 brothers to shoot you.

  • Can't fight your own battles? That's cool.

  • Shaolin has been around over 1,500 years... How long has your breakdancing been around?

  • here is a good example of very intense training on the part of the Leopard fist Boxer.

I would estimate from his performance that he has been in training a minimum of twenty years, i base this on breaking the form down into five distinct parts, and using the formula of perfecting each part over a period of four years pes section( not saying that the parts were withheld) but the form would take a considerable amount of time to perfect....and also keep in mind, this is a work in progress

  • I witnessed a racist street punk streetfighter king hit an asian business man in Perth. This little guy with glasses, in a suit and carrying a brief case. Me an my mates went to help the little asian dude...but wait, he fucking kicks the punk in the upper arm and then releases a raising spear hand into the punk's mid-section. That made him think about it, and he backed off...I was glad to see that even the punk's mates were telling him to get a grip of his racism issues.

  • Lol if he didn't have his qi gong training he'd be writhing in pain when he broke his hip after that botched flying kick.

  • Do you really believe he 'fell'. That's a common technique, he faints a head kick then lands flat body (to distribute pressure of landing, break fall) then kicks to the thigh or diaphram. 'Botched' flying kick, no. Mastery of a complex fighting system that led to many modern styles, yes.

  • crazy that guy jus went super sayain

  • wow. This guy has serious speed. I was not expecting that sudden outburst. lol

  • jedi master

  • He shouldn´t have so much coffee...

  • he didn't even fell...thats how the move is suppose to be...put him with mma fighter, and even with kimbo...he'll knock kimbo out before kimbo can take a half swing...

  • LoL, kimbo wouldn't know what hit him.

  • you guys have absolutely positively no idea what you are talking about - at all. You should really think twice about comparing him to any pro fighter of any style. Just look at it for what it is, a beautiful demo.

  • you're a fool. Kimbo's size and facial structure allows him to take massive, direct hits to the face. As awesome as this guy's skills are, I doubt his techniques could knock Kimbo out.

and why do you say "even Kimbo?" There are better MMA fighters out there. How about matching this guy in a fight with a Brazilian Jujitsu master, what good would his techniques be while on the ground?

  • lmao, guess you haven't see how they train...they train from first sunlight to first moon light...well dark.

he won't be on the ground...trust me.

  • Dumb training all day long isn't effective. You have to live it and intelligent is also important.

  • only because some guy doesn't have 50 kilos pure fat around his muscles doesnt mean he can't hard...

look at bruce lee, he would have beaten kimbo in less than 10 seconds

    you are the fool

  • Yeah, his side kick would've sent Kimbo flying like 10 feet away.

  • no way

  • kimbo got knocked out in 14 secs so its not impossible...but it will be hard

  • you are realy actualy saying that a fucking street fighter would beat a shaolin martial arts master who does not only train every day but he lives his whole life with the philosophy of kung-fu? u must be the dumbest person on earth...

  • you are wrong and right. in the ring, this kung fu guy would get his ass kicked, outside is a completely different story. in kung fu you learn deadly strikes and locks that are illegal in MMA

  • either way, he will win.

  • lmfao rofl i thought he triped in mid air whan it look like he did a 360 and fell lmao at 0:30-0:33

  • good leopard style

  • ... Wow, the most ignorant statement I've EVER heard...

  • he will hit u like 3 times before u blink ...

  • it would probably knock u out bfore u even start the fight...

  • NOOB

  • this guy is getting old, he danced better long time ago LOL

  • kungfu has crazy falling skills...tkd only teach you 4...front, back, spin, and side fall -.-

  • soon he's gona be a jedi

  • lol

  • That woz intense i fort he fell ova at 0:32 but he didnt he rox woop

  • hes aspiring to be the "star wars kid" lol

  • Yeah, the way he was winding up, you could he was building to something intense:)

What was amazing was with how much energy he was throwing out, he still kept focused and accurate.

  • his coordination of berathing with tecnique is awesome. true master

  • leopard is only the very end, he combines a little of daluohanquan with some fanzi and leopard. no doubt that the level of mastery of wushu of Shi Xing Hong is very elevated! nice clip, thanks for posting

  • i know he didnt really fall...but it was funny to c that

  • yeah maybe in dice shooting

  • the 540 kick.. slide to the ground.. and he kept kicking while he was on the ground laying down..shit!!!!

  • Its not really important to get it from first hand. Its Your own effort, knowledge to handle yourself, talent, know how to meditate. Those things...thats what really count.A good master is important he can help you find styles wich fit you.Actually the first step is to learn what real Gung Fu is.

  • Incredible.

  • like a movie lol

  • if i could do that i would just walk along the street doing that shit everywhere i went

  • god damnn fucking god

  • shi xing hong master teach me a kung fu...

    awesome...

  • One of the many reasons I really enjoy Shaolin KungFu.

  • Nice ! :D

  • I realize this has little to do with anything, but those uniforns are pretty cool.

  • i agree

its also a good symbol--see a guy in robes n shit like that, dont fuck with him!

  • It has everything to do with everything and, yes, they are cool!

  • I think, you (FightingWarrior) don't really knows what Shi Xing Hong is teaching. Among a lot of other Shaolin forms, he is also teaching Tong Bei Quan, Da Hong Quan (like Shi De Yang). Btw. the Chan Wu ranking system, developed by Shi Xing Hong, is approved by Shi De Yang ;-)

Please stop flamming and treat everbody with a little bit more respect. Thank you!

  • You have to be adult to take the vow. Therefore every Shaolin Monk Warrior studied Gong Fu in the temple, or at the Wushu Quan before they became monks. Wang DeQing took the vow when he was 18 and is a a true Shaolin Monk Warrior of the 32nd generatioin.

  • the abbot of shaolin temple only does internal styles

  • Its true shi, belt, sifu, etc all have no real worth. Like Bruce Lee puts it "it is easy to put-up a false self to impress others but to sincerely express self and not cheating our self, that is very difficult".

  • This is not the first comment from You, which shows that you don't have the slightest respect for kungfu.

It seems to me that you must have a personal problem with shaolin kungfu or with Sibo. Maybe you should think about it, because yeah, there are lots of modernised kunguclips on this site, but particulary thisone is not. I will rather not critisise your clip, on which we colud also open a topic, how 'original' it is or not..

  • Yeah everyone on youtube is an 8th degree blackbelt and martial arts historian aparently

  • duh!

  • Leopard fist is a very difficult form.

  • Ur getting mixed up with Shi Yong xin, who is another monk, he's actually not really from shaolin and was appointed by the government in an order to gain control of shaolin. Shi Yong Xin does NOT know martial arts, and is only out for money.

  • Good kungfu. Only true Shaolin monks use sir name 'Shi'.

  • He's not playing around, great stuff!

  • O_O OMG!!

  • Comments like this make me feel sorry for sharing a video on a public site, but I hope the majority does not think of a 32nd generation warrior monk straight from Songshan mountain shaolin temple, that what he performs in not real shaolin. This is shaolin. Never mind....

  • great performance, he is a real monk, so as my shifu 32nd generation monk shi xing peng, they are friends, you should see the shaolin ulysses, documentary about 5 monks in America, they are in it.

  • I dunno I been whatching videos of shaolin monks all day long almost. It is incredible to whatch and I would have to say that to my eye he seems to be of an equal level to those I have witnessed thus far. Very graceful and mesmerising. For those who doubt its use in combat there is a black and white video of a shaolin fighting some korean guy right after WWII. needless to say it is impressive.

  • very funny...AHAHAHAH

  • Funny?

  • probably because most of the shaolin monks fighting videos here on youtube are shi xing hong.
