Olympus Stylus 1030 SW | "Crushproof" camera?

Worthless review. They did not even turn the device on to prove it was "toast". The world is so full of just such an approach to things. I own three of these cameras. Couple of knuckleheads is what they are. I'm gonna go take some pictures.

Well, I don't know if you have already a camera, but I have chosen the Olympus mju 1030 SW, I love that camera. I have already snorkeled with it, also in the swimming pool, but also in the sea in Indonesia, but I love that camera! You can dive with it up to 10 meters, 10.1 Megapixel, and more. If I were you, I would choose the 1030, but I don't know about other cameras, you know.

omg you have to get the 1050 its better and newer than the 1030 even go search all the vids its shock proof freeze proof water proof microwave proof washing machine proof and steam proof so i think you should get the 1050

Olympus has never said that you can jump on it! Though, it didn't break into little pieces...

It's crushproof up to 220 lbs. We had a 170lb man jump up and down on it about a dozen times and it still worked like new.

It's only supposed to be crush-proof if you "accidentally" step on it, not jump up and down three and apply your whole weight, purposefully.

I dont know if i should get this or just a regular point and shoot camera, i really want a waterproof one, but ive heard the picture quality isnt very good on this camera, and i also heard that you can change the shooting mode depending on where you are to get the best quality but i dont know, someone tell me if there is any way to make the quality good.

it is rated 100kg crushproof... it's meant to withstand somebody sitting on it or dropping it. If you jump on it of course it will break...
