I remember seeing this episode and thinking that the lady was sick.

Putting a strap on the back of your kids door is wrong. I don't totally agree with spanking but I do think that they should only be given with a hand. The child should not be yelled at because they do have the right to feel safe.

Part 2 I f your child really doesn't want you to use your hand, because it makes them feel weird then you and the child should agree on what should be used. The child has the right to feel safe. Try using other discipline methods that are not violent too.

that woman is insane....i believe we should teach our children nonviolence in all aspects of life. and then people bring up the excuse "children these days are out of control." well guess what? every older generation throughout history has said the current youth are out of control. and a lot of these kids are spanked. and as for the ones who aren't, their parents just didn't discipline effectively with nonviolent strategies. you can discipline without spanking.

I think that the whacker mom enjoys being evil and hurting her children. Thats sad. Today there are much more effective and non hurtful ways of disciplining children. You dont want them to hit but you hit them. Doesnt make sense and is very hypocritcal!!!!!!

I don't like either, but if I had to choose I would much rather be with the whacker family. The kids in the other family are incredibly rude, spoiled, and downright obnoxious. The mother in that house is a neurotic bitch who can't even handle having a mildly uncomfortable conversation. At least the kids in the "whacker" house have a chance at going somewhere in life.
