I've been most impressed by everything I've seen on the this bike. It has also acquitted itself nicely in World Superbike competition as u say :-)

Seems like Aprilia took alot of expertise gained from their failed motogp effort & put it into this bike ;-)

Thank you. I'm at the launch hotel just outside of Mugello now. The launch has been cancelled due to a problem with the conrod's that has caused 5 engine seizures. So working on the official material until I get a chance to ride it in a few weeks.

Not good. I want one of these bikes badly... but not if they have reliability issues. Very sorry to hear that they are having problems.

It was a supplier issue with the preproduction bikes. None of these have been produced yet. They have the same con rods as the rsv4 factory and no problems have been reported. The have located the fault (supplier fault) and will no doubt rectify it prior to production. Japanese manufactures have had their fair share of issues preproduction and it shouldn't be anything to worry about. Believe me, I was worried to but then read why and all is good again.
