@flyrod40 Thanks for watching. I'm working on more beginner videos this Winter -with a better camera. Good luck tying and I hope you have fun catching fish on flies you tie!
I mainly needed to know what size bead works best for certain size hooks and this was not addressed at the beginning. I have had trouble getting the bead on the hook -- even barb-less hooks. What size bead was used? Thanks
i usualy dont cut the origional fibers used for the tail and abdomen and i use them for the wing case but i can see how that extra 6 fibers betters your wing case. Good tie!
I did all the video and editing by myself, so I actually wasn't looking through the view finder when I recorded this video. I was trying to get the view from how you would see it at the vise. I'll post some more tying videos and try some different video techniques. Thanks for watching and for you input.

I am also a beginner, and this was, in my opinion, one of the best instructional videos that I found. Thank you for sharing.

Great video. Only thing is you should of wrapped the rib wire in the opposite direction of the pheasant tail.

Thanks for your comment. Sometimes I do "counter-wrap" the wire but it's faster for me to wrap over & away so I mostly do it that way for speed.

good video, but a little too zoomed out, somewhat tough to see what's going on
