No...its much more complicated then just learn the blues scale...just dont stop practicing and try to learn something new every day. new. know bare chords know a couple of popular scales and try to learn songs u enjoy. download tuxguitar. its AMAZING learning tool.

Hey mate, thanks for your comments. It's all a case of using your thumb and first finger to touch the strings you dont want but not press them down, so as to mute them when your playin the notes in the riff which you let ring through. Try copying the hand positions I use and after a bit of a practice you will pick it up, I copyed them of JF and managed to get it down in the end. Thanks again for your comments :)
