Why didn't she stay back there? Granted, game's gotta find a way to do a puzzle, but are you seriously going to tell me that this character climbs back behind it, waits, climbs out, then decides she wants to go back in, but can't cause it's too high?

Hell, what they should have done is made it so that you HAVE to go back there, and while Bobby is trying to get you, you have to find the item you need back there. Put more pressure on.

This game isn't scary because of the Scissorman or anything like that, it's scary because you walk so slow and if you get owned, it will take you at least 15 minutes to retrace your steps.

Amplify the scariness by not saving ever ;)

That's actually not scissor man, that's his brother Bobby. Scissor Man is Bobby's resurrected mutant baby brother, who was killed in an explosion.

Basically what I just said. Although Bobby is not scissor man, he's just regular ol' Bobby and that's his regular ol' deformed face. Edward/Dan had to put on a mask because when he was resurrected he looked completely normal and therefore in the 2nd game he really can just be considered a serial killer with a fancy title (that being scissor man).

No, that's not what you said, Bobby was given the title "Scissorman" by the 2nd game and even then, most people referenced Bobby as the original Scissorman, in the 2nd game, they called the events Jennifer was in the "Scissorman Case" and Edward (also known as Dan) was one of the survivors of that case.

Also, Dan had to wear the mask because the others would know who the Scissorman was, and in the case his victim was to escape (which of course does happen) they could just arrest Dan and/or kill him (although that would do nothing) but Dan needed a way to get close to Jennifer without being discovered of what his intent was.

This was the only scary Clock Tower. Clock Tower on the PS1 had its few moments which would make you jump, but overall it wasn't that scary, Clock Tower 2 wasn't great at all, and Clock Tower 3 is fucking terrible. Abomination to the rest of the Clock Tower series. Not scary in the slightest, and it takes all of the fun out of the idea of survival horrors.

It's actually a "panic" meter. Kinda like a health bar. Jennifer's expression depends on the background color: blue - she is calm, yellow - worried, orange - alarmed, red - scared to death. When Jennifer is confronted by Scissorman when she is scared, she won't be able to struggle back and will be killed. Sometimes in this game you can rest and "restore your health" to become calm again.

As said my Quad, you're adopted my The Barrows... However, Ms.Barrows is a crazy bitch, and Mr.Barrows has been locked up by her in a cage. Mrs. Barrows sons, Bobby(The Scissorman you see here), and Danny(A giant purple blog of flesh who later becomes the Scissorman on the PS1 Clock Tower) are demonic... Basically, you have to get the fuck out of there alive, while Scissorman chases you.

because the PHONE ROOM (the one you need to open) and the RELIGIOUS LIBRARY (the room with the painted walls) switch their locations on every game (so you will find the PHONE ROOM on the first floor of the same big room where you should have found it)
