They arent twins, they are twin-personalities. They are Rin(Right) and Len(Left) of the same Vocaloid. This is exactly why Crypton didnt formally announce the relationship between them. Sure, Rin and Len were officially designed to always sing together, and unable to sing apart. Around the Act2 release, they were unofficially adopted as separate Vocaloids. I forget who said this but basically "Rin's left hand is Len, and Len's right hand is Rin, so when they hold hands they become one Vocaloid."

I think the twins can be whaever the hell the fan want them to be.

That really is the essance of the vocaloids.

When they were first created,
