can you put these guys with tetras at all? has anybody had any experience with putting them together?

@ZombieSlayer762 Loaches are very unaggresive and get along with almost any fish. They should be fine with tetras, I have one in with my cichlids, a cat, and an eel.

How big do the clown loaches get?

@rockboy494 12 inch but most get to 6 if lucky after 6in they grow very very very slow like 6-10 years till possible full size slow lol

I believe that would be a Siamese Algae Eater.. The tank has 5 of them... They do a great job of keeping the tank clean...

thnx for replying but i have one more question if i get three loaches wont they grow to the size of their tank.. what i mean by that is wont they stop growing if the tanks to small becaues i have a 55 gallon, and im not getting a bigger tank anytime soon

sry if u already got a reply the fish will only grow as big as it can acustom to the tank so if u have a small tank they stay small big tank get big

They are best kept in groups of at least 3 or 4 according to what I've read. Beware that they can grow to over 12 inches long and live a long time. They require larger aquariums...

I will have to get a larger aquarium in the coming months..

It is beautiful...i only have one and hes shy. Wish i could have more (100 gal tank)but i have 7 Angles with other fish of course, so 1 is really pushing it. remember they get to 1 foot....Good luck Angel
