They appeal to the emotions and make you think everything's gonna be fine, but it's all a con. We Brits fell for it in 1997 with Blair and look how that turned out! You're quite correct in your assertion to say some and not most or all because, after all, Americans finally saw the light behind the destructiveness of the GOP's rule in the USA.
