Yes, I would recommend the camera for a woman. I actually took mine back to the store for a more durable camera (Olympus Stylus 1030).The Kodak is a much better in picture quality though. i loved the pics it took so as long as you have a protective camera bag and not just throw it in the purse. Hope it helped...oh...1 other bad thing about the camera i dont remember if i posted...the video recorder is a little noisy. you can hear it zooming in and out, even on the recorded video
i have this camera and its a nice touch with the touch screen but thats about it. that docking thing is crap because using it means the connection isnt connected all the way. the zoom lever is too small, like its made for a woman. i dont think it matters that its a "youtube" camera...all cameras can do that..maybe just takes alittle longer process
