  • i was confuse in expense but after i read your note i was enlighten ahahaha that's right "debit decreases net income", this frame work is great for me ahahahaha :)

  • Hi, yes very good advice on a basic approach sometimes keeping it simple really does work, however it is not just the software tools that is important it is the understanding and having the knowledge to use the different versions

  • For anyone who might be confused: A DEBIT INCREASES AN EXPENSE ACCOUNT. You could also say this in another way: A DEBIT DECREASES NET INCOME. These two sentences are both correct.

The mental framework that is presented in this video is based on the second expression.

  • thank you

  • Awesome! The best explanations I've seen yet. Thanks a lot.

  • thank u very much !!! it's very helpful !!!!

  • doing it this way is so much simpler than the way we do it in the UK

our balance sheets are laid out different =\

  • thanks m8 help me out

  • Love this. What you just explained as the secret of T accounts, I guess I have learned but never understood like how you just presented it. Never heard the idea of take the center of the balance sheet and then to the outside is increasing and to the inside is decreasing. Very simple and easy to pick up. Im feeling that I can now drop out of accounting and just watch your videos and still learn the same things just much easier. Well done.
