Praying/Making dua is not restricted to any time or place, Lupe is a wonderful figure for showing that in his time of strength, though he's performing - it is his faith in God which is helping him through. And what I love about him, is that he doesn't want to put himself out there to be the poster boy for Islam - because he's humble enough to say I got my faults - don't judge my perfect religion by me.
Lupe once again makes advantage of his dum Islam loving audience to sell his records in the future. This is not something new. There were people at the time of the prophet who knew that Islam was a lie. But after the 'prophet' died they used this lie to control the masses and to keep themselves in power. Lupe didnt invent something new by using this 'pious' tactic.
At the end of a surah, your not suppose to say Amen. Especially during Friday-Jamm3a prayer, you arent suppose to say Amen, but many from the Sunni sect, belive that you do it. The reason is because when you say Amen, the surah becomes a Dua. Which in prayer, you have to read the surah only. GET me?

first of all this is not a dua its the very first chapter of the wholy quran second...the word Amin is not a verse . Amin is said to ask for the dua is accepted yet since these are quranic verses and supposedly you believe in them your amin should not be included.
well we say ameen after we recite in our daily prayers but yeah it aint a dua however it does contain the line "Keep us on the right Path" so maybe so cos ameen means "make this come true" but salaam alaykum bro

actually i think its a way to expose people to Islam
lupe is a good face for us for the younger generation, he raps out real issues and people connect with him, naturally they'll see his talks about how islam prevents him from drinking/smoking/clubbing etc and instead talk about good things!

uhh where did you get that from. Did you read my original message? I said that lupe's islamic music is good way for people to get like the gateway into islam, then they can take a real step into islam by learning from sheikhs etc. IDK where you got me saying bless you is trying to be christian. Praying/Making dua is not restricted to any time or place, Lupe is a wonderful figure for showing that in his time of strength, though he's performing - it is his faith in God which is helping him through. And what I love about him, is that he doesn't want to put himself out there to be the poster boy for Islam - because he's humble enough to say I got my faults - don't judge my perfect religion by me.

Lupe once again makes advantage of his dum Islam loving audience to sell his records in the future. This is not something new. There were people at the time of the prophet who knew that Islam was a lie. But after the 'prophet' died they used this lie to control the masses and to keep themselves in power. Lupe didnt invent something new by using this 'pious' tactic.

At the end of a surah, your not suppose to say Amen. Especially during Friday-Jamm3a prayer, you arent suppose to say Amen, but many from the Sunni sect, belive that you do it. The reason is because when you say Amen, the surah becomes a Dua. Which in prayer, you have to read the surah only. GET me?

@sugarcult45 why would you not pray, during prayer? you're supposed to read a surah only after you make the starting prayer which is surat al fatiha. this is no sunni shitte crap. all are equal in front of god. so you're supposed to say Amen after the imam says amen. the prophet did it. everyone did it. even the angels do it after the imam says amen. its a hadeeth to say amen. its in the quran to say amen after the imam recites surat al fatiha.

first of all this is not a dua its the very first chapter of the wholy quran second...the word Amin is not a verse . Amin is said to ask for the dua is accepted yet since these are quranic verses and supposedly you believe in them your amin should not be included.
