that was probably the best segue (kill bill) i've seen all day.
y'know, cats just wait til we go to sleep, then they have a secret cat toy party during which they play with every toy you've ever given them, especially if it makes noise. when the sun comes up in the morning, again they're all la la whatever. it's cats. they cultivate mystery.
and anyway, dad seems to be having much more fun playing with the jingly ball. :o)

why is it cats never like cat toys and instead prefer fingers, ribbons, packaging, and string? *laughs* Mr. Scooter's Kawaii!
