A comet hits a planet in some galaxy, on it is a tiny microbe. You start off with a default Herbivore or Carnivore. You then, by killing others cells, earn DNA points for evolving it into a better cell. After a period of time you get legs, and go to land. You keep evolving into a sentient species, then you become a tribal society. You fight other tribes of difference sentients.
And then once you destroy the other sentients, you become a more modern, civilised society. you build buildings, wage war on others cities for command over the entire world.
Then you go into the Space Stage, where you conqure entire systems and empires.
The point of the game is to reach the center of the Galaxy.
Yeah. I always remove the eyes on my cells right away, just for the kicks. I find it's much funner then with eyes, and much more realistic, like you said.
Ever played a creature with no eyes? *that* sucks. lol.

I did this. It was fun. And in a way more realistic than starting with eyes right at the start.
