Su-34's are now in service to replace su-24's, there are about 50 su-35's in service, there are Ka-50/52's being built and russia has sold a unfinished aircraft carrier to china, and a helicopter carrier i think to India) I seriously doubt about "feeding and saving" the world over a century.

Airstrikes do not mean actual troops being on the land.To do that you must first get rid of all the enemy aircraft, and air defenses (which is pretty hard with let's say f-16/18's i've flown them in a simulator)...So what you were saying is that you have your navy is just wasting resources for nothing ?

The fact they have about 350 million people fit for military service and the population of the US is about 300 million says all in a ground battle.Russia has also alliances with most of the f. soviet republics like Belarus,Kazakhstan,Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan which is still a candidate.It would take at least days of airstrikes for a beach to be ready

The submarine-based Bulava ballistic missile failed when launched from the White Sea, the Defence Ministry's press office told Itar-Tass news agency.

All the others are either pilot error or something going bad with the engines (example birds going in or just failure). That submarine was old and probably rusty, that's why it sank.
