Doug, you recorded this in the same week as I presented my Art of Fugue concert in Millis with different fugues! Great minds think alike. I get a feeling of "rushing" in this take. You can take a noble tempo and relax in it. With this music, it speaks (though differently) in a wide range of tempos.

@jkhalsa thanks for the feedback...yes...i do rush this piece. i have been trying to play it at a slower pace. i have been using the glenn gould recording as a bench mark which is probably why it sounds rushed. i like the tempo he takes but it is very difficult execute it effectively at that speed.
