ok so i just bought some lucky bamboo and have had it for a few weeks and one of the plants leaves have started to turn really yellow. i have not used any fertilizer. any suggestions?
I have a LB and i have had it for some time. I moved it to soil years ago. Since then it has grown well. Recently i gave it about four ounces of plant food. The stalk is green but one by one the leaves are turning yellow. I live in NE Ohio and i have it about 10ft from the window. So far i have cut about 10 leaves and more keep turning yellow. What can i do to figure out the problem? If it is over fert. then what are my options? Could it be the roots? Any help would be great.
Love your vids, Jacob! I have one arrangement that gives a yellow leaf every week. I've even noticed entire clusters of leaves turn pale and then yellow. It did this while growing in water, and now doing it in soil. I've never fertilized, so my guess is too much water? The soil never dries completely out and I'm wondering if that's the problem. It sits where there is low light. Any other ideas?
I noticed in one of your earlier videos you told us to water lucky bamboo with enough water to where it drenches the soil to the top. But in this video you advise against giving it that much water because it will produce fungus. Could you clarify what the right way is? Thanks.
What is the best fertilizer to use? i have a lucky bamboo that i have had for about 9 yrs . It has been growing in water all this time and when i put it out side it turned most of the leaves and stalks yellow. Is there any thing i can do to save it? Thank you for your videos, they are awesome and very helpful.
