In my opinion,SoulEdge/SoulBlade will be the greatest video game ever made. It's the first video game I ever played (I was just 4 when it came out in the US) and I have so many memories of bolting out of a room screaming whenever SoulEdge appeared.Cool review!
In the previous part you stated that you had a copy of the original arcade Soul Blade/Edge rom, but you did not use it since it won't run on your computer. Does this mean that it is a functional rom that you cannot run because of te emulation overhead, or is this a broken rom that will not run even on a fast computer?
It is worth nothing that Inferno does in fact have a skull for a head in Soul Calibur 2. This is most obvious during the intro.
In mame it takes a really fast computer (cpu wise) in order to run Soul Edge at full speed and mine simply can not run it. For some reason the Zinc emulator wouldnt play the sounds properly so I decided to use the playstation version.
Do you have a thought on the requirements? Would it be more than what is required to play Star Gladiator 2/ Plasmasword. Also, any ideas on where to acquire the rom (I'll probably forced to google it won' t I?). Fun game though. I've never unlocked those extras.
It dont know the exact requirements but I know on my system Star Gladiator 2 runs faster so Soul Edge needs more power. I DO NOT PROVIDE DOWNLOAD LINKS. Google is your friend.
Nice thorough review, but one little detail you missed. For the Playstation version all the characters had a third outfit design (press circle for them if I remember correctly), these were in fact competition winning designs in Japan.
The winners names appear in the ingame credits also.
lol i live in costa rica(central america)so the shipping would be much expensive than the game itself. and actually i boutgh copies here and the iso runs better than the cd, ive both japanese and american versions cds and isos

Can you review Tekken Tag Tournamnet for both Arcade and PS2?
5 stars.

I was planning on doing that eventually, I will just have to figure out a way to get tekken tag running on my pc at a decent speed.
Tekken Tag for ps2 is still my favorite tekken game.

say is piracy like if i took Dead or Alive 1 ROM for PSX and downloaded to a CD-ROM? BTW would that work?
fantasystar13 3 years ago
Yes downloading a game that you dont own is piracy. Video game systems have copy protection to prevent that.
