What is the thing that you put under your foot? Is it a spinner? Sorry I didn't know of its existence... I don't really know very much of skate but I like it ^^ I'm from Spain and here if you don't live in capitals, you cannot practice ice skating...

omg i just bought these today and mannn are they expensive!!! but honestly, the girl in the vid makes it look so easy to spin with but it actually isn't! like i can do a camel/sit on ice and i can barely do a good sit spin on it!

i have one but it sucks its not helpful at all. its just like a black square typing thing that you stand on, like the size of a medium sized floor tile or something. i bought it off the us figure skating site and i do not recomend it it is horrible and a waste of 50 dollars

maybe you got disbalanced model, or tried it on a bad floor, or something else but your conclusuion is wrong.

Ive had it for a while, and ive tried it on a wood floor, carpet, grass, tile, etc.

i dont feel that it helps me at all.

its not like this one though, its like a black square that has 2 of them and one stays on the ground and it has ball-beardings inbetween that and the part of which you stand on.

idk if its just me but mine does not help me at all. its fun but not very useful.

Amazing! I find the spinner incredibly hard to use. I have a metal one that allows for NO travelling at all! Lucky to get three "revs" out of it. The one you use seems to allow a little bit of travelling across the floor? (No criticim of your spinning though...it's very high standard :)

this one has the same curve as a normal skate blade would so you have to find your "sweet spot" just like using skates so it does allow you to travel a bit. it takes practice to get it right but i like it =]

it depends on the carpet. if its a really squishy soft carpet it won't work but if its one of those carpets that is firm, short etc. it will spin a bit but kinda slowly

yes, it really helps, especially if you already have some experience in spins and want to improve it.

from my experience - shoes are not very important, but the type of floor is VERY important. :)

Hi. It was happybirthday present, and it was bought in Latvia.

But, spinners are sold now on many stores in Europe and USA, I saw also an internet-stores. Just ask google "skate spinner by"(you can try this query on your own language) and check the answers.

BTW, spinner isn't very good to help LEARN spins, but it's powerfull accessory to IMPROVE already learned spins, especially on training new positions.
