hi rob!! not to many people like to fell the smell of the lamb!! how i could kill that smell before i cook it? i like the smell but not my family..lol
Hi! ok so i have been looking for lamb chop recipes all over youtube, i know yours are really lamb shanks but I have to say you have the best recipe. Most are either talking about grilling (how hard is that) but you did such a great job, i am suscribing AND trying it now. Keep up the good job and THANK YOU!
tryied your lamb shanks not much of a cook but my family loved it now i have to cook it every week thanks mate p.s can you tell me the proper way to cook a red wine gravy or sauce for a good eye fillet have failed at it to many times
MATE!!!!!! Just made this and it was simply AWESOME!!! Guys you have to try this! Thanks heaps for that Nicko!! Hope Imogen and Jess are doing well !! All the best!!
@Nazally no. it doesn't taste liquory, you don't taste the alcohol but there is an extra level of taste due to the wine. If you don't like wine or just don't want alcohol in the dish, you can substitute the wine. I did one with wine and another without. I used cranberry juice with added lemon juice as a wine substitute. The final outcome doesn't taste exactly the same but it is still yummy. @Robjnixon What would you recommend as a wine substitute?
Im shanking it up today i cant wait so im checking out some inspirational material im going to slowly cook those dirty little shanks untill they fall off the bone mnumm mnumm mnumm mnummm awesome video and an aussie too woot!
no, when you cook with wine, the alcohol always burns off, so you do not get this 'wine' flavour, just the essence of the red wine like the grapes and spices used. you wont taste the wine :) and it is YUMMO
Finally tried this one last nite when I had couple of friends visiting and it was... Just an heaven for those who like lamb... Gonna put this one among my other favourite recipes... And even one of my friends who's not so hot for the lamb said that it was ridiculously good... :D
