  • "i plan on keeping the hair as long as the hair will have me" lol im ALLLLLL in favor of that! :)

  • Hey Chi Chi. I'm back again. I'm gonna give this another try. I just had one question (I think I already know the answer). Did you use the whole piece of hair or did you divide it in two?

  • @Apryle2009 I used it exactly how it was broken up unless it was too too thick.

  • Love your hair. I have to try this!!💋

  • This is cute I need to try it amd I got it janet collection

  • I love these twists

  • I think you did a WONDERFUL job I am trying to do mines now. ... I am now Natural so I think will do me just fine. hope they turn out as good as yours

  • girl those came out so dang gone cute I will be trying them on my daughter this weekend you made them look so easy, and thats a cute look for you

  • Sounds like you're from California since you described the hair as "hella hella thick" lmao. I'm in the bay area (San Jose specifically, and none of the shops here have black people's extensions). Are you located anywhere in the bay? If so, you said you got from a hair shop near you, which hair shop did u go to to get the hair?

  • HOW LONG DID THEY END UP KEEPING YOU? I REALLY WANT TO TRY THIS! CUTE LOOK!

  • This is Hot!

  • how many packs of hair did u end of using? u probably answered this but i can't seem to find answer...

  • How many packs did you use?

  • I really like this video and will be attempting this. Just a lil advice just in case you haven't figured it out. You can always do your parts bigger in the middle it will help cut down time. If you go pay africans to do it that is exactly what they will do. don't worry about hata's and i'm not offended by your comment at all. you are saying don't ask questions you already know the answer to. i get it! love the video stay up!

  • OMGosh are those button earrings?? so cute!

  • @kristledotson Ha Haaaaa Hardy Har Har! *sigh* I'm really starting to think ur the stupid ass chick from the comment below that I chewed a new ass and blocked.. LOL..But anyhow..first off, slut, you don't know what the hell went on in my relationship..atleast I was even able to get wifed up! bet you'll neva see ring BEYOCH!! secondly, u quick to call somebody ugly; where the hell are ur videos?..what yo retarded ass look like? RIGHT..lemme guess..RETARDED!! So shut the the fuck up n kill yoself!

  • HIIII, ok soo i have a question for you :) ok so my bday is next week and i want to do this style so bad.. but i didnt know the hair to use, thank you for that, lol (i already bought it) BUT with the length that you have, how did you come about it? did you cut it into 6inches? like what are the inches if you dont mind :D other then that i love how yours came out.. hope that mines look like that :(

  • Too cute, I love them:)

  • They look great, I wish I could do mine I not good at braiding I can twist but I cant braid.. I might at least try..

  • Wow! Wasn't expecting that! I almost forgot my question. LOL! Anyhooooo, Napngo: One question.....Did U use the whole piece of hair or did U split it in two? I'm gonna install mine next week so I can't wait! I will definitely post pics. BTW...... Love the mohawk!!!!!!

  • @Apryle2009 LOL Chiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiile the people kill me!! I used the whole piece in this video but I did another n split it b/c it was so thick the first time that i couldn't really style it.

  • @napngo .....Girl, U know U gotta expect those types here and there. Nonetheless U do U!!!! Cool, then I will split mine in two. I like the option of styling them, too. Love ya and thanks!

  • @mrsprincesskd you mutha fuckas kill me! I heard myself I made AND edited the video! NOW I'm bouts to get ghetto n untactful...Fuck u and the horse u rode in on. It's my channel I say WHAT DA FUCK I WANT! If u don't like it don't come back. By da way, where da fuck r ur vids? While u all up on my channel tellin me what to do, tryina snap n the. Tellin me 2 have a blessed day. GET UR THUMB OUT UR ASS n EAT a dick! KEYBOARD GANGSTA ASS!! ghetto enough 4 u? Now u cant answer cuz u blocked!

  • Watch that video of yourself and listen to yourself. That comment you made about " IF YOU ASK ME THAT QUESTION AGAIN AND I JUST TOLD YOU ON THIS VIDEO, I WON'T RESPOND OR I WILL JUST LEAVE A SMART COMMENT". Get off yourself, that was very ghetto and tacky you can do better then that. next time just be more tactful on how to state your concerns. Thanks have a blessed day : )

  • GIRL KILL THE ATTITUDE, ITS NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL. LOVE THE HAIR LOL......

  • @mrsprincesskd YOU KILL THE ATTITUDE..IT'S NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL EITHER..LOVE THAT U LOVE THE HAIR LOL.. HOW ABOUT U TAKE TIME TO MAKE VIDEOS N HAVE PEOPLE SENDING U MILLIONS OF QUESTIONS THAT YOU'VE ALREADY GIVEN THE ANSWER TO..THEN COME BACK N TELL ME HOW U LIKE IT =0)

  • did you find the hair tangles easily while installing , and if so, did you treat the hair before installing?

  • @nicegirlnatural2 i DIDN'T BUT I DID NOTICE SOME TANGLING BUT NOT TOO BAD.

  • Thanks for this vid. It looks really nice. How did U keep them from frizzing?

  • @Apryle2009 i DIDN'T DO ANYTHING..IT JUST LET IT GET OLD ON IT'S ON I TWISTED IT HAS TIGHT AS I COULD IF THAT HELPS.

  • @napngo .....Yes, that does help! I did receive my Janet Collection hair and can't wait to do mine! I hope they come out as good as yours! Thanks again!

  • BTW......You can get the Nafy hair from Young Kim @ slasshes@aol.com. I just ordered some from her.

  • @Napngo I use Kinky hair products all the time. The hair is not cut in half, if you pull the hair and measure it you will see that it's 24 inches. Think about it, if you twist any type of fluffy hair it's like the hair shrinks because of the coils that form. Very nice job though!!! <3

  • Thanks for posting the video. Will the appearance be altered if you don't braid first, rather start it as a traditional 2 strand twist?

  • @janel5629 hmmm...I may not be too far off..u should try it n post a vid.

  • @napngo YES POST ONE.

  • @janel5629 I THINK SO, BECAUSE IF U START FROM A TWIST YOU HAVE TO DO THE TWISTING STYLE THAT THEY USE FOR KINKY & SINAGALESE TWISTS IN ORDER FOR IT TO BE TIGHT AT THE ROOT WHICH WILL IN TURN MAKE THE TWIST TIGHT INSTEAD OF PUFFY..

  • I was looking for another style to do with my hair in braids; Beautiful job love the look and not too heavy I'm assuming.

  • can u do fluffy twist w/ marley braid hair?

  • That's exactly what I did. I'm the type who can't wait to get hair. I asked the folks at the store and they told me Janet as well. You get the bounce like you said as well. And the colors look natural ( I mean ladies thought it was my hair)...lol! Looking good girl and now, I want to do another set again...lol

  • THEY CAME OUT BEAUTIFUL SIS, PEACE.

  • I love the video, great tutorial!! Thanks, keep em coming!

  • That looks absolutely gorgeous! What kind of hair did you use?

    ha ha, just kidding ;)

  • You Are SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Hypnotised watching your vids... &&& You Gotz CRAZY SKILLZZZZ WiTh Your Hair Game. Well Done. ;c) SoLo7.

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE IT

  • really cute and that is a easy great protective style any1 can wear love it looks good on u...

  • hey Chi Chi, i dig the fact tht u already stated the name of the hair used n this vid but m unsure if i have the rght hair, idk if wherever ur frm they hav a certain style tht other areas mght not carry... so i looked all aroind my hood today an wat i gotwas the janet brand afro kinky bulk 24, they said they didnt hav a non kinky texture or the hair so my question is did i get the rght hair or not, and if not cud it be done w/ the kinky texture of the janet afro kinky bulk?

  • AWESOME JOB!!! JUST REDID MY FLUFFY TWISTS & I LOVE, LOVE ,LOVE THE STYLE!!!

  • i had used that same hair last summer and i curled the ends. everyone thought mine were the best kinky twist they had seen. i didnt know they were called something else cause i asked for kinky twist

then last week i did it my self and Girl i dont even braid and it was cute !

  • Ps before they said they would figure it out I showed them a screen shot of u and this chick said ohhhh u mean kinky twists? Smh nevamind :( (sorry for the long ass rant I'm just a lil irked right now lol)

  • I'll do it myself cuz I'll be damned if I pay $135 for a chick to F my hair up and if they brought out the bowl of hot water to curl my ends like I know they would I would be pissed!! I'm so disappointed you made me want to run out and get this. I swear I watched this vid like 3 or 4 times today n now I gotta wait. :(

  • So this morning I stopped in the braiding salon n asked if they did spring twists or puffy twists and they looked at me like I was dumb then said they could figure out how to do it for $135.. Huh? and just now I went to the beauty supply store and asked if they had the Janet brand and got the same look. Smh I'm in south Jersey apparently all they know out here is micros n kinky twist :( off to order from Eon.com and deal with the wait.

  • Love it!!

  • Well my comment is so late :) But how long did your twist last?

  • lmao @ you telling people not to ask about the hair you used!!! You know some peoples attention span is short!!! lolololol Hair looks very nice!!!

  • Very Cute

  • Wat kind of hair u use?

    Lmbo juss kidding

    Love the hair

  • your hair looks great i will attempt to do my own hair...paying someone $225 to do the afto puffy twist is crazy to me...you made that look real easy...

  • @slomo5ny thanx! good luck if u try!

  • your hair looks great!!!

  • question, I started the twist also and didnt know there was a world of woman actually doing this haha, but my question is when your twisting do you twist and your thumb is moving left (if your right handed) or your left hand thumb is going right?? if that makes sense

  • Your hair came out nice i like it and it was sweet that your hubby was holding the camera cause most men would have been like u trippin LOL!!!!!!!!!!

  • how much do you recommend a stylist charge for these?

  • Girl your hubby is sweet, mines wld have stuck the camera somewhere and been gone...lol

  • what kind of hair did u use?..hahahha jus joking.. ur hair is pretty!!!!!

  • @pj4kds LOL..thanx!!

  • @pj4kds BWAHAHAA!! YOUUUUUUUUU FUNNY!! I'M JUST SAYIN...EXAMPLE: I DID A VIDEO AND LITERALLY SAID IF U LIKE MY EARRINGS GO TO THIS SITE AND I EVEN PUT THE WEBSITE ON THE ACTUAL VIDEO N STILL HAD LIKE 5 PEOPLE ASK ME WHERE I GOT THEM..REALLY? WATCH THE DAYUM VIDEO!! SO I JUST QUIT ANSWERING THOSE TYPES OF QUESTIONS...LOL

  • Those are really nice, I did twists with the same hair and mine were long, but you would have to use more packs for the fullness that you had. Great job!!

  • You did the damn thing!! These are hot!!!!!!!!!

  • @madamecandy thanx boo!! =)

  • @napngo Those are really nice, I did twists with the same hair and mine were long, but you would have to use more packs for the fullness that you had. Great job!!

  • awesome video and you gave excellent instructions and I am going to get mine done in ATL I already had the hair but didn't want to drive to NC to get it done, people here in Ocala, FL don't have a clue

  • @llpolynice Have you tried going to Gainesville or Orlando? What about Jacksonville? They are a lot closer than ATL or NC

  • Your twists came out the bomb. I've been holding this hair I bought from glamousviva wayyy back in July 2010 I think. Been holding on because I want my hair to come out a fabulous as yours. The best I have seen so far really.

  • @ComyaBee thank you!!

  • i cant see wat u doin

  • so how long did those last you cuz im going back to school and need a protective style for a couple months

  • @badejob I had them up for a lil' over a month..I did them too big and the frizzed out faster than I wanted them too..I had that concern too.

  • I love how yours turned out. Can u wash them?

  • @finenfoxxy I'm sure u can..They got wet a couple times n came out okay..just don't shampoo roughly.

  • @napngo..uh uhh..i dunno how much u paid for the janet collection but the hair on Eonhair go for 11.99 a pack and all you need is 2 packs. i have REALLY thick hair tjat comes right above my shoulders and 2 packs is all i need.

  • you did a good job

  • @Meeyahx thanx!!

  • Hey gurl! You should try the afro fluffy twist hair from Eonhair.com. It's sooo much smoother. The only headache is that you have to cut the hair off the track. Ya hair still came out beautiful tho!

  • @sham713 softer is nicer..but I may cost more huh?

  • @napngo it only cost like $2.00 more but I dont think it comes in other lengths. I want to buy it, but all the vids I am seeing on it, the twist are the same length and thats chin length at the longest. if you find 24 inches let me know

  • @MsKandiiNatural Yeh that sux! I wanted mine to be longer..a lot of people have said not to fold evenly and make one side longer than the other to create length..But I don't like that b/c the top will be fat and the bottom of the twists will be skeet..SMH.

  • What did you do to make the ends of the twist stay? My hair keeps unraveling at the ends and it's very stiff...any tips?

  • @chocoasthmatic I just used shea butter n twisted it around my finger.

  • i aint no perve but damn ur sexy!!!!

  • @JasonT2300 uuuuhhh...*blank stare* thanx??? =)

  • your look great...I'm doing t right now and want to know how hair did you use for each twist? did you split the hair or as it was in the pack? btw I couldn't find the janet hair so I'm using urban beauty collection.

  • I know you said afro bulk 24 but is it the kanekalon toyokalon kind of hair please dont get smart with me its just askin for the brand thanks

  • @1978angeleyez LOL I can't remember cuz I don't have the pack but im pretty sure it was kanekalon.

  • I know you said afro bulk 24 but is it the kanekalon toyokalon kind of hair

  • I ordered the Janet afro bulk online $9.99. I pre-washed it with vinegar and water to take out the alkaline, just so it won't itch, so far so good no itching. Wow lol "it's helluva thick". It's a little long so I will have to carefully cut and style. Thanks for the tips really appreciate Napngo.

  • @pb9103 I just learned something.. Vinegar..I'll have to look da up!! hey u should post a vid!! I'd love to c it!!

  • See, I don't get that. Doesn't matter how long it was originally. If they cut it before they send it, then it's not 24 inches. It's too bad because I love the fluffiness of your twists and would like to try this style, but my natural hair is 12 inches. Anyway, thanks for posting (and the warning). Your hair looks fab!

  • @Mikou71 yeh that sux!!

  • you remind me of my aunt ! you ' re so pretty ( : hair looks GREAT

  • @lessonlearned831 awww thanx sweety =)

  • Did you use any products on the kinky hair itself? Like Jam, or spritz etc?? I'm doing my hair like this next weekend and I wanted to know. I love it!!

  • @MonecaTV I used a lil shea butter to help it glide n twirl around the ends.

  • @napngo Ok Thanks!

  • They look great! I'm putting them back in my hair again! Such an easy but great protective style.

  • What kind of hair did you use?

  • Hey there! From the looks of this on my phone, we do the same technique but do you part in three sections or start from the back and work your way up? Thanks!

  • hey do you have to braid first?

  • @chocoasthmatic I would assume b/c if u twist it from the root u have to do it tight and it will look like a kinky twist instead of a puffy /fluffy twist.

  • this my first time seeing this hair style on youtube , ALOT of people in savannah georgia wear this hairstyles but we use this hair call Sens Sens and the hair comes single and you pull the hair apart for two braids.I like sens sens once you braid it yuu cut the ends .It look real pretty when you cut them into layers

  • Thanks!

  • So how long did you keep them and did you wash them?

  • @QueenProphetess a month and I used organic root stimulator dry/latherless shampoo.

  • Great video...so how many people asked what hair you used? There's always one...Special.

  • @pacutie101 well it isn't just the hair but some times I get people who ask me questions that have been answered..it's jus that their lazy asses don't wanna watch the whole vid. i.e. music...I'll have the name at the end and I'll always get a question about the song.

  • Your hair is beautiful. How many packs did you use?

  • @QueenProphetess 3 1/2 bags

  • Thank you so much for sharing simple and clear directions. I went to the beauty supply store and bought something called afr beauty collection and its turning out great. Thanks so much and God bless...Will load a response video when im done thanks...BY THE WAY YOUR HAIR IS SIMPLY GORGEOUS...

  • Your fluffly twists look great. I just finished my first set of nubian twists. I'm going to try your method of dividing the hair to continue the braid. Good job!!

  • Since getting my hair done in rope twists in JA, I have always wanted them re-done in the uk where I live. However I have yet to find someone who does what I want. Plus got kids and not easy for a sitter just to get my hair done. So I am so glad I have seen your video. I am going to find this hair or similar and try to do my hair myself. I always struggle with parting at the top and some parts of the back, but if I dont try I will never learn. thanks for sharing AND your hair looks amazing

  • @Sofrolushes ooh yeh try it..and I never use exact parting on my hair. Besides..it's so thick n full that u can't really c them anywho..

  • That Janet Afro bulk is very hard to find...lol drove around town looking. Then they had the nerve to catch an attitude when I ask. So I decided to use Femi Afro Bulk and will do my best to style it close to your pretty style. Girl you rock.

  • @pb9103 that's y i HATE supporting those supply stores..U takin our money ur in out hoods n u still stanky actin?? we have a couple black owned ones here so I try them b4 i go else where first. but please post a response vid when ur done! Thanx!

  • @napngo What store here in STL did you get yours from?

  • you can buy this hair for $9.99 on gmbshair.com

  • @Divazstyle Thank you for sharing because I cannot find this hair where I live :)

  • That is way cute. im wondering if i should cancel my hair appointment. will try.

  • @ChiChivonchichi LOL..good question..LOL

  • Your hair looks beautiful! My sister was trying to put this in my hair, but no matter how much she twisted, it just wouldn't stay twisted. Is there a certain twisting method that you used to make it stay twisted? I aw one video and the girl said that for puffy twist you should twist left over right? Does that make a difference?

  • You have to add hair if you want longer twists (just like you add hair to no-knot cornrows)

  • @Modacolorist thanx!! Y didn't I think of dat. LOL I will try dat next time..

  • Oh YOU'RE Chi-Chi. I just saw your client give you a Shout-out, YOU GO GIRL!

  • @Modacolorist yeh that's me. LOL

  • This will be my next style, love it !!

  • @Nenendude Thanx!!

  • fiyah girl!!!

  • @cess268 Thanx!!

  • Oh thank thank thank...for showing how you do the back of the head. Everyone show the front, but I have trouble with the back. You did a fantastic job. I was afraid of doing big fluffy twists but you encouraged me to try it.

  • @pb9103 Thanx! do post a vid!!

  • i totally luv your hair!!!!!! you did a great job!!!!! how much was the hair and how many packs did you use?

  • @msboo26 I used 3 1/2 packs and it was 9.99 a pack..

  • lol @ "or ima just have a smart comment" hmm... I need to try this one day

  • @miszreese LOL..please post a vid response!

  • Super cute. I was wondering what type of hair you used. lol. LAME! hahaha. Seriously tho, that hair style is really pretty. Wish I had tried it when I was loose.

  • @feepee01 LOL..u'z a fooh!! RIGHT!! well if and when u get loose..try it out! u'll love it!

  • Your hair has inspired me to try this style but the ends of my natural hair keep coming out of the synthetic braid...any suggestions on how to keep the hair in the braid?? Thanks in advance!!

  • @marchgurl18 are u doing it with ur hair damp or dry? cuz i twisted my hair the night prior in big twists to stretch it out a lil' but still have a twist pattern to blend with the weave. then I just used a lil shea butter on my ends.

  • Cute!!! I'm mos def gonna try this style.....how many packs did u end up using??

  • @Mstoot7 3 1/2

  • Very pretty. It looks good on you.

  • Girl those are gorgeous! Im planning to do mines in a couple of wks before i go back to school!

  • Love it!!!!!! Thxs for the info
