While I'm not debating that the modern GOP would be completely unrecognizable to the Founding, universal healthcare is a particularly interesting case and it's debatable.

Generally, as old-school conservatives, the Founding Fathers would've been incredibly suspicious of government. Which isn't to say that they would've necessarily opposed it if it worked (it does), but they'd absolutely keep a close eye on it at least.
