you know, in reality, though it may have seemed that he did, axel truly didn't care for xion. at the start he was jealous because of all the attention that roxas was giving her, but the only reason he didn't say anything against her was because he knew that xion made roxas happy. in the end, he must have come to the conclusion that she caused roxas to leave the organization, and disliked her then.

that said, axel merely pretended to like xion; it was a, as saix put it, "fake friendship."

DiZ can.. do something rude I won't say. I never finished KH2 because I was so outraged by him and his lies. Even Nomura is saying Org XIII are not nessesarily The Bad Guys and painting them as more neutral and sympathetic.

DiZ lost my respect when he said Namine had to be disposed of. Namine. Innocent Namine. I don't care if she shouldn't exist, Good Guys don't suggest 'disposing' of an innocent with that much coldness. Him and Yen Sid should be drawn and quartered.

I respected him and the 'good guys' a lot until KH2. I actually could not finish KH2 in English because I felt like a monster attacking Demyx and doing DiZ's dirty work. I felt bad too...I mean, I always thought that the Nobodies are good, because, what wrong did they want to do ? They just wanted their hearts back to become whole, not rule the world or something like that. So Org XIII to me were the good ones, while Sora and the rest of the gang (With the exception of Donald and Goofy) and particularly Riku are the baddies to me, got that memorized ?

XD I love Axel, I have since CoM though I'm a Larxy fangirl and a Vexen swooner at heart.

I can really only blame Xemnas. It's canon that he willingly seperated his heart from his body and delved into darkness but I don't believe most of the others wanted to become what they are. They are neutral entities, their means of becoming whole might not be 'good' but it doesn't make them 'evil' either.

Riku.. ugh.. he WAS my favorite character until KH2.

Yeah,Xemnas is really the one responsible and perhaps the only evil one,since he wanted to get in Kingdom Hearts just to get power and not become whole again.But all the others,I really believe they weren't bad at all.Perhaps only Saix,since he was Xemnas's lackey, then again, his death scene proved the opposite,so erase that.He was good too.

I can't really say they are 'good' either. I really do think neutral is the best word. They are being driven to act as they do by desperation. I can't imagine how it feels not to be whole. The biggest shock came when we finally got to see cut scenes of the Org members dying - almost all of them show emotion and anguish. I don't understand how Sora can feel good after witnessing that. The original CoM had him horrified at Vexen's murder...

Larxene is not evil. There is a line in the novel that gives some interesting insight on her. A lot of folks like to point out she says she does not want a heart but they ignore why - she doesn't want a heart because it hurts too much to have one and she's comfortable without one - meaning she doesn't have to hurt.

None of them are truly evil - I keep saying the word you want to use here is neutral. Not everything is black or white.

The others just seem to be their to become whole again.

Larxene is to be very blunt, a sadistic bitch. The novel calls her capricious and says she "does not want to talk to old men". I have a feeling she probably has a really great story about who she was and why she is reluctant to want to be whole (I get this feeling she was hurt bad and used). Marluxia I suspect played upon that and manipulated her to his side with false promises.

Marluxia is a bastard. I love him but he really is an ass.

Axel is pretty 'evil' in CoM too. That's why many call his behavior in KH2 a character derailment - he went from a magnificent bastard to a neutral emotional bad ass. I don't think we'll ever know enough about Larxene to understand her motivations wholly.

The hearts that the nobodies had were hearts stolen from innocent people. Because the Nobodies were taking those hearts away, the original owners of the hearts were becoming Nobodies as well.

Sora was trying to defeat the Nobodies because he wanted people to get their hearts back.

I couldn't fight Demyx in the English version. I had the Japanese one at release and I could PRETEND maybe Demyx WAS a villian but once I heard what was actually being said - I just crumpled inside. Demyx cries when you hit him. He is pathetic in an adorkable way.. and I can't understand why Sora chose to fight him. All I can blame is DiZ brainwashing him because.. well gee... it was just so cruel.

I never believed that. They have memories of emotions, hollow emotions - we can see this in their interactions with each other where no 'pretending' is nesessary. Xemnas embraces nothingness, some of the elders do as well (and Marluxia) but the biggest problem is that it's impossible for us as humans to even write an emotionless being. We can't comprehend it.

Saix also. They try to embrace nothing and the idea of being emotionless beings. I think it fails horribly - Vexen for example shows fear when Marluxia pulls a weapon on him, outrage when Larxene insults him and protectiveness towards his replica. These are all in the presence of only other Nobodies. Why the need to act around your own kind? Larxene flirts with Axel - why would an emotionless being flirt? To make him uncomfortable? How could an emotionless being get anything from that?

CoM Axel comes up behind Vexen and slashes him with a chakram. It was so shocking to me because it was an on screen murder (OF MY FAVORITE CoM CHARACTER besides Larxene!) and he is absolutely horrified, he begs Axel to spare him.

Re:CoM is the set on fire scene which I haven't gotten to yet. Same as in the Japanese version, I'm stuck at Vexen because I have a hard time wanting to kill him XD

Even if Xion is a replica or a doll, Xion is Xion. Even though I try to understand it like that, I dont know how to deal with it. It was okay to make use of the Riku Replica. But, Xion is different. No, I dont know if it was okay to have used the Riku Replica. How are Nobodies that dont exist, and Xion, the created doll, different? Both have vague existences; that wont change. And, we are best friends. That wont change.
