  • Grew my hair out...thought it would work...

  • @azahnd82 dude you're bald.

  • Bravissimo Forastiere ed ottima esecuzione ma...

...mai sentita Know who you are di Roger Hodgson/Supertramp..?

    ahi..ahi...ahi....

Grazie!

  • I bet if you hooked this Master up to an EKG you would see his heart + guitar are right synchronicit-ly in sync. OMG this is Heavenly. I now see how having the wrong mate in your life could harm a BEING --> gentle of spirit. Pain brings in great music; this is music FILLED with calmness serene-ness. Most delightful to my soul. I am in awe at this being. (I have come a long way since I first subscribed to this BEing. FOR I feel the change within my Soul} Yes a Master.{Thank you UK Man, a Gem}

degna delle migliori produzioni new age internazionali

  • Geniale.

  • Pino, dove posso acquistare la partitura ?

  • Fantastico !!!

  • i wish i could make love to my guitar the way he does it:)

  • Complimenti. Molto rilassante.

  • GIGANTE! :-)

  • Arte, grazia, musica, emozione.

  • can someone tell me why the hall is the same in andy mckee's vids?

  • @WizArtemisos They mostlikely did this recording at Rob Poland's house, the owner/producer of Candyrat.

  • bravissimo

  • This guy ENJOY his music. Look at him playing. Now, answer me something: Do you think that any of those millionaries that sells crappy music just to earn money enjoys their own music this way? Never. Impossible. That's it. Some just aim the money, thinking it can bring the pleasure that this guy is feeling on this video. But it can't. Wonderful song.

  • 20 persons dislike this, those persons are picks, because Pino doesn't use any pick

  • Man, never realized, he's got some loooong fingers

  • that. was amazing....

  • How can 19 people not like this? Go back to your rascal flatts CDs and let Pino play without your worthless opinion.

  • He reminds me Micheal Headges....

  • @Deeparabesque66

    "aerial boundaries"..

    quite right!

  • Pure flow of emotions

    Grande Pino, sei bravissimo!

  • Pure grace.

  • If I was a chick, I'd let him finger me. I mean, look at the intricacy with which his fingers move.

  • at moments he plays so smooth its sounds like the piano

  • one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard

  • is not a cat in 3:31 maybe a string jaja

  • TROVATA FINALMENTE!

  • Anyone else hear that cat at 3:31?

  • @ChaotixMachine

is not a cat in 3:31 maybe a string jaja

  • His style remembers me Steve Hackett or Anthony Phillips.

  • Yeah Delo is right----ive dedicated my life to listening to great music and Pino is the greatest guitarist I've ever seen. I'm not saying he's my favorite guitarist--frankly any guy playing at a bar when I'm good and drunk is my favorite if he's doing some Hendrix but Pino is technically the best you'll see.

  • Some days ago I was listening to the weather news and in the backgroud there was this wonderful masterpiece of Pino...now the problem is: why tv is so clogged of garbage music that the only available place for good music is in the weather forecasts ?

  • I love pieces like this, where I feel like the artist is inviting us into their mind in the most honest way possible.

  • my right hand pinky is sore after that.

  • I will bet anyone a bazillion dollars you will never find a player that gets more into his playing than Forastiere.

I mean, just look at his face.

    This guy is fucking intense

  • @delomalonicon look up michael hedges (if you hadnt already known of him, will be totally worth your while IMO), takes that intimacy to another level. What a great song by the way.

  • @delomalonicon

Check out Keith Jarett then, you won't believe it lol

  • If it was possible to have sex with an instrument, I'd want it to be like this.

  • So very good,I need some tissue brb!

  • I dont know what i would do to be able to play like him...

  • its so good it hurts to watch it

  • on his right hand is he using his pinky?

  • @skaterjoe88 yes he uses it, i tried it too, its hard but worth it , in this particular song its wonderful using the pinky greets

  • @skaterjoe88 yes.

  • @skaterjoe88 yes he is :)

  • @skaterjoe88 The right hand pinky is not used at all in this tune. Hope that helps!

  • @RatioOfTime1 yes it is

  • @ShadyCrux I studied this tune exstensively with John Stropes, a leading authority of finger-style guitar. The transcription can be purchased on his website. I can assure you, the pinky is not used at all in this tune.

  • everytime i listen to this i get goosebumbs (the good kind) all over my body! he have extremly good volumecontrol and feeling when he plays.

  • truly touching stuff here, it gently ebb and flows through emotions into bliss.

  • This piece is so awesome that even his cat meows at the end in pleasure!! (Listen at the end)

  • i would kill to have that right hand....

  • the obligatory "what tuning is this in so I can learn it" question: what tuning is this in so I can learn it?

  • @00Dakka tuning: CGDFCE low to high.

    enjoy!

    ^_^

  • I love this man so much, its easy to see his attachment to every note he hits! he has incredible control... anyway the praise could be endless.. But, whenever I see Pino I think of a mad chemist

  • look at how graceful his fingers glide across the strings. he looks like hes moving underwater, so peaceful.

  • I still love this song so much.

The first time I heard it, I couldn't control my smiling and I just felt amazing.

Now I can't control my tears instead. I can't say anything about me has changed but somehow it's become a sad song to me.

  • i love to play and listen this song wonderfull pino

  • Like Incubus says, "...it's just a phase."

  • b-e-a-utiful

  • cat his cat

  • This is like, my song of the week!

  • beautiful music!!!

  • lol whats that noise at the end that makes him laugh?

    3:30

  • @osismelrus a cat?

  • very beautiful.....a superb artist!!

  • this could make you believe in music once again

  • this is gorgeous. completely moving. stunning.

  • does anyone like the bit which starts at 2:01 ? it just sounds like a different piece of music for me, out of the harmony in some way. any interpretations?

  • @ciokas : R u serious!?

I don't want to be offensive, but at 2:01 start one of the greatest part of this piece!!!

Remind me so much Progressive rock, sound like Pfm riff....just love it

  • Comment removed

  • very beatiful

  • what is the use of the cloth in his 6th string tuner?

  • I think its his capo.

  • could anyone help me out with the pattern he starts off with with his picking hand? easy song, easy chord... i'm alittle rusty on my right hand arpeggios.

  • The right hand fingering in this piece is pretty straightforward throughout the tune. Generally, the thumb plays the sixth and fifth strings, the index plays the fourth, the middle finger plays the third and the ring plays the first string. Hope this helps.

  • Thanx. I'v been playing classical for a couple of years off and on... He uses proper finger placement. I was wondering if anyone knew the pattern he uses. Such as a normal roll would be T-T-1-2-3-2-1-T-T ect...

  • well I think the pattern in the beginning is T-T-1-2-3-2-1-3-2-3-2-1 :P

and in this video he also uses his pinky but on the Forastiere Live DVD he doesn't so it's probably also """duable""" (I think that's an understatement) without using your pinky finger

    greetings

  • Don't forget the hardest finger of all, the pinky. A lot of the notes that stand out a bit more (the higher ones anyways) is played by his pinky.

  • Actually I might be wrong, but it sure looks that way o_O.

  • This song is testament to the belief that Simplicity is Beauty.

  • i love it

  • Love it!!

  • Truly inspiring sound. I especially like Nordamerica by him, however this is graceful and pleasing to my ears also.

Thank you rpoland for this wonderful post.

  • hah, at .25 he looks at his left hand like hes saying, hey get back here pinky, you aint goin nowhere

    :D

wonderful song, one of my favorites my pino

  • I think this is officially the best comment i've ever read

    I burst out laughing

    I love Pino's facial expression

But all of his facial expression comes out in his playing anyway :-)

  • lol good post.

  • @MeinenMusik Omg so I'm not the only one who noticed that look!? lol very nice, I love Pino's music.

  • @MeinenMusik

what is your favorite i like this guy and want to hear more

  • @jacecrawford listen to Cammino, that's his best I'd say

  • @MeinenMusik HAHAHA yeah, it actually does :D

  • How do you count this??

  • The transcription is in 12/8 time, it gives this tune the impression of floating. I'm not sure how they got 12/8 though.

  • there's very little to this song, but it's enjoyable nonetheless

  • lol id love to see you play it. send me a pm with a vid of you playing it just like this. yea i didnt think so

  • lol, what are you, 5?

  • why dont you throw two zeros on the end of that. yeah im 500. what now grundle bitch?

  • hahah, i'll take that as a yes lol

  • Maybe this is a stupid question, but what do the double dots at the 7th fret represent? I know the dots at the 12th indicate the octave.

  • those are also octaves. the A string has the 2nd octave of E (the string above it), D has A's octave, etc

  • The 12th fret is the octave (2nd harmonic, as in half way along the string), and the 7th fret is the 5th (also the 3rd harmonic, as in it's a third of the way up the string). It's another important reference although not as important as the 12th and so isn't always a double dot, depends on guitars.

  • Martin Guitar's Trademark i think, i havnt really seen any double dots on 7's on other guitars

  • this guy is definitely an angel. look at those hands!!!!

  • i know, it doesn't even look like he's playing. Just keep to the basics of fingerpicking everyday and eventually your hands can learn to be that graceful.

  • what is the tunning?

  • CGDFCE. i believe

  • At 3:30, even his cat expressed enjoyment of this magnificent music!! Lol!!

  • lol

  • nice

  • This is amazing! :}

  • Amazing composition!

  • bravisssssssssssiiiiiiiimmmmmmmooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!una melodia magica....

  • Sei un grande Pino!

  • sweet! you look like Rob Machado!!

  • Ti ho conosciuto oggi grazie a Rainews.

  • tuning??>?>?

  • CGDFCe

  • CGDFCE Use guitarpro if you have difficulty with the tuning ;)

  • beautiful

  • Comment removed

  • that blows my mind!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • if your mind has been blowed by this guys wonderful talent well i run a mind repair shop why not stop by

  • lol

  • first time i ever see a "lol" comment get a thumb up.. haha:p

  • lol me neither doood

  • a lower action guitar will make those hammers sound cleaner, i think.

  • yes and no...if the strings are lower it doesnt give you enough time to really nail the string cuz its already being silenced by the rosewood...im not sure though

  • those who hate that...Try to do something better guys! It's call EMOTION

  • You sound like an idiot ! Hes a great player.

  • Who takes a crap with guitar in hand bobbing their head up and down? Seriously man. Vid or gtfo.

  • Seriously; or was that comment a joke?

  • It was a reply to a troll whose comment has 'magically' vanished.

Never argue with trolls on the internet.. It only leaves you minus 1'd

  • OOOOHHhhhh I took that comment totally the wrong way. Thanks for replaying.

  • it looks to me as somone whos has brought the mind body and soul into union with his emotions and guitar but hey man thats just me =]

  • what kind of music is that?

  • i'll tell ya what kind of music is that it beautiful and hectic music XD

  • It's called fingerstyle guitar.. Fingerpicking is a term from the USA that is playing a bass line with a thumb... Fingerstyle is like a collection name for multiple righthand technics.. The music is played for the piece not the technics

  • sometimes it can even be called experimental, but the style of the guitar is fingerstyle.

  • beautiful

  • Walking on the moon with your music. You make it look like it is easy, incredible! thanks for the insipration.

  • Mmm, that is very soothing. The deep tones are great. I love its simplicity.

  • It doesnt have to be really complex to sound awesome, sometimes simple is better =) he's one of the smoothest, most entrancing guitarists i've heard so far

  • watch some of his other stuff, but i do agree this is less complex than the other stuff. but when you think about it, imagine writing this... its very very hard to write things like this. ive been trying for a long time

  • You just said it's beautiful. Why compare him to anyone else?

  • just an observation... why does it matter?

  • Because they are two different musicians, both doing whatever they want to do. Apples and oranges.

  • I never said otherwise, so what's your point?

  • I'm just trying to figure out what point you were trying to make
