he is very sick and could not preform anymore. that was what was told on the news, i do like Anthony better but Sam is his friend and he does good, but he can not beat Anthony.

yeah i wondered the same thing and then i stumbled across a vid on you tube with him saying he was sick and couldn't preform anymore for health reasons...he retired and choose sam to take his place...

Greg did not so much "choose" Sam to take his place. Rather, Greg, along with the other 3 Wiggles, offered the job to Sam because he was the only one who was in any way ready to take on the job. The job pretty much had to go to him in order to keep the band together. I am currently working on a video about it right now, and I will give out the finer details of the situation.

When Greg was diagnosed with Orthostatic Intolerance in November 2006, he very reluctantly stepped back from the group in order to work on regaining his health. After a three year struggle, his health has now dramatically improved, and he has returned to performing. His first solo show was in September, and the tickets sold out within an hour.
