He also helped producers financially. As Laxmikant (of the Laxmikant-Pyarelal duo) once observed – “He always gave without thinking of the returns”.

And Lata Ji fighted him to have 50% share of the royalty of songs from Rafi Sahab which Rafi Sahab denied to recieve as royalty

Hello Yuan. TY. A masterpiece by Naushad. Also sung by Lata. However, this is a

re-mix of extra tabla and ghungroo(little bells) in it. The original version was recorded with only two instruments, tabla and santoor(or xyelophone).

Dilip Kumar to play this role originially but he refused because he did not want to act as Nimmi's brother as he had an eye on her back in 1950's. How noble of him? LOL.

Another film with similar story was made in 1968, Mere Huzoor which too had hit songs.
