In Doki Doki Panic, Birdo is a transgender egg monster. However in the character's true debut into the Mario franchise "Mario Tennis", Birdo is named Cathy or Kathi. Therefore she is FEMALE. Yoshi is a BOY. Every Mario game and everything else he appeared in since SMW calls him a he.
just incase you are butthurt from this there is proof. Birdo is a boy who looks like a girl in one of the first games he is introduced he has no bow and looks pretty masculin but in later games he was changed into a girl. so yoshi has to question his own sexuality because he might be going out with a girl who use to be a guy.
