Best fight in the whole damn series. No ridiculous "frenzied nerves" bogging down an otherwise masterpiece classic. Enishi getting up and walking away is a bit much though, but the fight was great. They're not talking about useless crap every five seconds.

tui syousen Ryukansen kogarashi tumuji and arashi  towards for shishio.If kenshin used enishi, he defeated enishi easily.

One of the most epic fights in anime history. I like how it isn't bogged down with the wordiness and battle tactics of the manga -even though they were awesome volumes. The lack of needing to engage readers with words is much more evident on screen when you can convey what's going on through action alone.

@biancabaydoren You're actually right-- Kenshin's Japanese voice actress is Megumi Ogata, but they wanted a 'neutral' sounding voice for him.

Watsuki-sensei originally wanted to cast her in the role for the anime series, but the producers picked a classical theatre actress named Suzukaze Mayo for the role in the TV series and OVAs. Similar story for Kaoru's seiyuu - Miki Fujitani. Watsuki-sensei originally wanted to cast Tomo Sakurai for the role, but instead she got cast as Misao in the anime and only plays Kaoru in the CD/radio dramas.

@ShootMyMonkey I've listened to the Drama CD - Version and I have to say that Ogata Megumi would be really perfect for Kenshin. Hence I was a bit disappointed when the Anime didn't cast her. But I've got used to Suzukaze Mayo while watching the Anime and now I think that she did a great job as she also got better with every episode. And in the OVA she was just awesome!

jinchu arc is definitly the focus for the new kenshin series. Even for people who read the manga, Enshi is serverly under-estimated. Enshi has shishio strength, soujiro's speed, nerves that over come pain and his sword style is Waton Jutsu, (which is an ancient chinese technique used to combat japanese piriates/japanese samurai sword style). I say Enshi as the final villan is the right choice by the author.

He didn't use that move where he sheaths the sword super fast. For those who didn' read it, Enshi's frenzied nerves makes everything sharper so Kenshin sheaths his sword fast enough to make a high frequency noise that just puts Enishi at a disadvantage.

I know i'm stating the obvious but damn this fight was wayyyyyyy more epic in the manga since the fight was definatly more intense and with Enishi's techniques, espically frenzied nerves, he came off as being even more powerful than Shishio in my opinion and to me Shishio was kickass. So for those that haven't read the manga it is highly advised you check the manga version out over this.

This is an epic fight but I really dislike this OVA. Trust & Betrayal were epic and the dark & edgy style fit really well with Kenshin's Battousai past, but this one... Kenshin felt really out of character, with none of the humour from the TV series and the manga, and doing things like joining in the Sino-Japanese war. Plus, like Watsuki said, Kenshin went through so much crap that he deserved a happy ending.
