Between Dr.John McCabe and Jerry Lewis..I'd rather be stuck in the elevator(The lift)with Jack MCabe than Jerry Lewis. Because can make a documentary about L&H or even a discussion about L&H interesting.
Well you can certainly add two more people to the petition. I have been a fan all my life and have converted my wife. Come on BBC there are many people that want to see this.
Fantastic! What a wonderful documentary this must be. I will definitely be signing that petition! Very touching hearing Lucille talking about Ollie's final months. I'd go as far as to say that Laurel and Hardy are the most loved entertainment act ever. Just genius.
thank you for allowing people to view this wonderful footage. great to see stan watching his own movies. the bbc dont seem to screen any laurel and hardy anymore, which is a shame because people of all ages would love them. a couple of years ago they used to put them on quite a lot on bbc 2. its time they were screened again.
We wrote to the BBC to ask them if they might consider releasing this famous Laurel and Hardy documentary - 'CUCKOO' onto DVD. Narrated by Morecambe and Wise it features interviews with Jerry Lewis, Dick Van Dyke, Babe London, Marcel Marceau, Lucille Hardy (Ollie's wife), Bob Monkhouse, Hal Roach, Marvin T Hatley, Jack McCabe and many more. It was last broadcast in April 1976. The BBC said they would consider a release if there was enough public demand, therefore, we have made this petition.
I like seeing those L&H like Comedy & Tradgety masks at the opening of this tv tribute to the boys.

Just discovered your channel, and I have to say:
THANKS for providing us Laurel and Hardy fans with such insightful material
It's pretty difficult to find documentary material about them, especially here in Germany
Thanks again
