  • Hey Andy, Nice lesson! You got me thinking! That's not easy to do! Ha HA! I love the octaves a la Wes Montgomery. I listen to him a lot and nobody is better using that technique! I think its better suited for jazz. I play blues, and haven't incorporated or really tried to use this technique. I know the blues is wild but haven't heard the octave thing much there. Anyway, I am going to try it!. If you could post some blues it would be cool! Thanks Andy Joey Vaughan "World Blues Attack"

  • Go listen to manhattan by eric johnson, it uses octaves in a fantastic way

  • andrew is a genious. by far blows all the other youteachers out of the water. the topics this guy covers are incredibly helpful to anyone wanting to build their chops.

  • tender surrender by Vai and Manhattan by Eric Johnson are good songs which includes this octave technique
