Just ordered M50-73 82000 yen in Japan. Free shipping. I investigated synth topic very deeply and this is really best option on market. Very good synth (actually copy of KORGs M3) with very low price tag. Differences with M3 are things you would never use anyway - Firewire input etc..
What a beautiful sounding piano that is. Hard to say anything about korg pianos after listening to that. It is really a superb board for under a thousand bucks now in the U.S...
@mostlycrapreviews KORG's piano sounds have always been the worst of the top brands, it's OK for live performance (is it's rock, blues, pop) and I could NEVER use them for a recording
@fegde I no longer have that keyboard. For recording/producing I'm using all Audio Units ("VSTs" for Mac) but in the videos of M50 Demo, it was just the M50. I do not have sheet music for anything on here because I can't read (or write) music
61 nad 76 version have light synth-weight keys (this may be easier for a begginer), the 88 has weighted keys like a real piano, this is better to play piano, but not as good for other sounds such as synths and organs... Just thins about what sounds you'll be playing... If you're starting out I recomend the 61, since it's also cheaper!
My main focus on my "Korg M50" demos was to have good audio. All of the videos in this series have the sync issue. I recorded it using the onboard cam of my Macbook Pro, using Quicktime, and the Audio that's going in From the M50 to my interface... this method will cause the sync problem. I could have uploaded the video and audio seperately on Logic and then adjust it correctly, but it's time consuming, and I don't believe was important in this series.
you'll want to lower the low-mid, add some highs, but it all depends on where your listening to it and what sistem your using to perform with it. I you dont know how to work EQ, it could be used like a radio knob, just keem moving until it sounds good
thanks for uploading these vids there are no stores aroung my area for my to see this thing in action for myself but you have sold me on the M50 thanks awesome skills you have as well

Sounds great! Do you use any VST with you Korg or just the built in samples? Also, would you happen to have sheet music? This sounds beautiful.

It surely sounds like you've transposed it to -1, which makes it a bit harder to find the chord progression, but I'll do my best ;)

Don't remeber... If you watch the video upside down, you can catch the chords very easily haha
