@juggalotusification buddy, carbon is a real issue - a carbon tax might not be the right answer, I honestly haven't decided yet, but pollution of the Earth's atmosphere with carbon dioxide resulting in an enhanced greenhouse effect, which has both an empirical and scientific basis, is a VERY real issue; only a bloody fool or a small-minded man would deny this. Also: apart from deforestation in Tas. (which is a state issue right now) and fracking, the rest aren't really affecting us.

@xingwei12 haha show me that NASA research and show me how it's relevant and I'll give you a dollar. The Earth won't be affected by external bodies and energies (except for artificial satellites, meteorites, and powerful bursts of radiation, which we get all the time really) for about another billion years when the sun will be 10x hotter than it is now. Other planets (few other planets have intricate climates bro...) have never changed like ours, and we've never changed like this before.
